If he wants a non-moving bed in XY then yes not my frame. CoreXY is one of the answer but that also comes with long belt with lots of pulleys/idlers/shafts that are bending or flexing.

Have you seen my Bear Upgrade frame for Prusa printers? Could maybe be a start for you. I am for now based on Prusa printers but I have seen lots of other builds. Don't hesitate to fork my project and always happy to help if needed. Please note that I am working on version 2.1 at the moment (check the dev branch) but the frame is going to be the same, only the parts are changing.

I have never experimented this but I would love to see a slicer able to use STEP files with real arcs instead of the triangles from STL. Can't really help you but will follow this topic with pleasure!

If the tension on the wheel is not set correctly it will wear quite quickly. There are stiffer wheels from Openbuilds to improve that: . Another issue with vslot motion is that any small dent/chips on the wheel or vslot will create a little vibration, however I don't know if you see it on the print.
Linear rail like MGN12 is another thing. First it requires regular greasing, like every 3 month.

Also check the grub screws on pulleys are good as well as bearing of idlers.

I have personally experienced "dry cough" when I was working in the same room than my printer and it was PLA and PETG only.
