QuoteFloyd Both your temps are VERY low. Bump up the hot end to about 230c and the bed to 110c for ABS. Also it looks like your springs are a little too tight and biting deep into the filament. still the same issue stops that that exact same part. And my J head can only handle up to 235c.by strk - Printing
Didn't really help but I might think it may be the filament. I tried another roll of filament that I had and it works just fine.by strk - Printing
My 3d printer's extruder keeps chewing up the filament when it gets to a certain step of the part that it is printing. It's to the point now that I have to stop the print and take a part the extuder and clean out the hobbed bolt then reassemble it again just to try and re-print the same part. Then when I try to reprint the same part again it stops extruding and starts to chew into the filament onby strk - Printing
Quotetmorris9 You skipped a lot of pertinent info like temperature(s), material, speed.... But it looks like ABS and I am going to guess that your heated bed is too hot for starters (no hotter than 90c but 85c is better) also you probably don't have retraction turned on (set to 2mm to start) and have you calibrated your extruder? I.E. extruding 100mm uses exactly 100mm? Have you measured your fiby strk - Printing
When i was printing a small hollow cube for calibrating my prusa i3 printer I noticed that that side walls of the cube were not evenly straight or not looking uniformly. instead they look like there is too much filament or it's stringing up on the sides of the cube. However, the bottom portion of the cube came out perfectly so I'm not sure that it could be a bed leveling issue. For more details yby strk - Printing
belts and motors seem to be in okay shape, but i'll double check on that.by strk - Printing
For some reason without any change of software settings this has started to happen on my makerfarm prusa i3 every time I print something it comes out bad. For example circles are now coming out as ovals as show below and some parts that us to come out uniform aren't that way any more you can see what I mean from the pics below. What could be causing this to happen been at it for 3 daby strk - Printing
I just turned on my Makerfarm i3 prusa for the first time but the LCD screen is showing nothing (as seen here http://i1154.photobucket.com/albums/p529/strk44/LCD/webcam-toy-photo2.jpg ) The LCD is on showing a blue screen but not showing any text or option at all Any idea why this may be? Thanks, strkby strk - Reprappers
Okay so I just bought the prusa I3 from a friend and he told me that all I needed is a 12V power supply. I was first thinking of just using a computer power supply that I have but then I looked around on ebay and I found this Would this be suitable to power up my 3d Printer?
