thanks guys! i made those adjustments and it works beautifully!by asaf - Reprappers
hi everybody! i've got a problem with my thermistor- it wont give me the temp'- it showes zero i checked all my electronics (including all the wires and the thermistor itself) all the way to the sanguino. i tried to find if there is a problem with the code- but in the 'test machine' mode it gave the same resault- zero voltage. i also checked and we saw that in different temp' there is a chaby asaf - Reprappers
hey everyone! my y stepper motor driver board broke down so i ordered a new one. my x and y stepper boards are 1.1 version and the new one is 2.3. i tried to make everything work and found out that the new board requires enable pins to be inverted while the 1.2 version doesn't. if i choose to invert the enable pins, only z axis work and if i don't, x and y axis work but z donesn't. how do i mby asaf - Reprappers
hey guys! I'm working to finish my darwin but i have a problem. my axis was working fine and suddenly my y axis stopped moving. I've ruled out the motor and i'm foucsing on the stepper motor driver board. both the L297 and the L298N had been replaced and an electrician checked my diodes and made sure they work as they should. the reprap host sends the correct command and recives an "ok" markby asaf - Reprappers
you've totally made my day! i made that change, uploaded and my axis simpley sprung to life. thanks alot man!by asaf - Reprappers
I'm building a darwin and my arduino had stoped working so i switched to sanguino, and since then my axis wont move. I'm using arduino 0018 software with the sanguino extension and gen2 firmware. I've connected the pins as it said in this Gcode interperter:Gcode, and ofcourse this is the one i'm using. with the use of a serial monitor i confirmed that the communication is established and the cby asaf - Reprappers
I have a problem with my thermistor- I have a 100K thermistor. When its wired and the power is on it measures a resistance of 1.2M and 1.2 volt (should i even have voltage on the termistor??). Also, the code run the pwm board is being sent to the board even if the host is closed. Another problem- we just switched from arduino to sanguino (and did all the necessary changes in the Gcode interpreteby asaf - Reprappers
tried removing the if and changing into when i wrote above, and got nothing. the next step is tracking the code step by step following the step_en_pin path, see what i yield there. any other suggestions regarding the code are welcomedby asaf - Reprappers
i've been exploring in that direction and that thread is really helpful. i tried commenting the if statement and it didn't work. i will try the if statement they suggested. i have another question: in this line #define EXTRUDER_0_STEP_ENABLE_PIN -1 (in the pin.h tab) does the -1 need to be assigned as a byte? in my gcode interperter it doesn't and i dont know if that's a problem. i'veby asaf - Reprappers
i've tried using all avalible pins and got nothing. pretty sure it's something in the Gcode but i cant find out what it is. the thing is the board and motor works great when simply tested using the wiki code but doesn't work using the arduino test or with reprap host. i hope someone here can help my figure it out.by asaf - Reprappers
I do get a green light on the dc motor board, but no voltage in the the pin on the main board for the motor speed though. pins are correct, triple checked them. Clarification: The green light is for the power. the green LED for the output does not light up. I think something in the firmware is stopping it from running (no voltage on PWM pin, both with normal and test modes) but I can't think whatby asaf - Reprappers
hey guys! I have almost succeeded building a fully functioning Darwin printer, but I have a problem. the dc motor won't turn when i try to print, although the 240 target temperature is achieved. I've already tried testing it with the sample code given in this wiki page: (dc motor test wiki) for the arduino 0015 I'm using. I'm using Gen 2 electronics, a dc motor driver v1.1 board and reprap host.by asaf - RepRap Host
