Possible fix / solution: For problems with my LJ18A3-8-Z/BX sensor so z-probing doesn't work. Will look into asap. I built my divider out of 2x 18K and a 8.2K. Will drop the 8.2K for a lower value. On second thoughts will start a new divider from scratch and will utilize the 12V direct from the Melzi board and plug the old end stop back in as a fail-safe switch. So near and yet so far :-) Iby Gatchaman - Prusa i3 and variants

Been away for a bit. Haven't touched the printer in such a looooooong time. Reading up on what has been happening over the last ......8 months. Cough! Still need to wire up the LJ18A3-8-Z/BX. Sigh....by Gatchaman - Prusa i3 and variants
While fiddling about with the melzi board and burning a boot loader I found out that my heat sinks where actually stuck to the drivers and mosfets with bathroom silicone glue adhesive :-(. Proper heatsink glue hardens and isn't like rubber when it cures. If you don't have any heat sink paste go and buy some. Clean the old stuff off the drivers and mosfets. Spread a tiny thin layer of heatsink pasby Gatchaman - Prusa i3 and variants

Thanks gwc2795 and Robkadett, your replies have been taken on board and I'll get to work gluing and adjusting parts soon. I wish I had found this place before I built the printer but ... oh well I'm here now :-). Still haven't left a review on Aliexpress so will leave a pointer to this place when I do for other lost sheep! Thank you once again!by Gatchaman - Prusa i3 and variants
Hello fellow Zonestar P802M owners! Bought a P802M (Cstar brand) from 3D star (Aliexpress) in November, built in December and just doing wear in runs with test files. The linear bearings in the kit were VERY VERY crunchy when first slipped onto the rods. At times the Y carriage shudders as, I think, the linear bearings seriously jam and lock. :-(. That's why I haven't printed anything on it yetby Gatchaman - Prusa i3 and variants
