Hello everyone, I am currently upgrading my fisher beta to 1.0 and was wondering if anyone has managed to connect octoprint to the fisher? This little machine fits perfectly in my closet. Thank you in advance.by upsch2000 - Fisher
Oh... And I recomend Formfutura filament. Their Filament is specially made for BuildTak since they developed it.. PLA, EasyWood, PETG and almost every PLA blend work without problems..by upsch2000 - Fisher
I had the same issue with the german company "Das Filament" it was very tempting buying 1spool for 15€ (no shipping, I picked it up). I had it in a sealed container for about 4 weeks with dissecant. When it was time to use the spool, I noticed the same problem (but not that extremely). For my opinion there are 3 possible reasons that might complement eachother: - Filament has sucked too muby upsch2000 - Fisher
try increasing print temperature i am printing 220-230 depending on the filament brand I hope it helpedby upsch2000 - Fisher
I am not an expert but i have seen some guys using grease instead of oil.. I guess its because it lasts longer...by upsch2000 - Fisher
Thanx for the answer.. I just ordered easywood and easyfil.... I was trying out some Filkemp with the lubrication stuff because of the known problem of the rough bowden tube... and it litterally sticks as if you had superglue on the buildtak.. its nice if you have prints that start with supports ... but its no fun to take the prints out! so I will report after testing easywoodby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hey everyone! I finally got my printer working thanks to all the posts on this forum. Thank You!!! Has anyone tried other kinds of PLA Blends such as Woodfill / CopperFill and things like that? and if so, what where the slicer changes you made? Do they mess up the BuildTak? Thank in advance!!by upsch2000 - Fisher
I think he just means the sound that the endstops makes when they get triggered.. No metal contact needed . Cheers!by upsch2000 - Fisher
The logo isn quite necessary.. It just looks neat . Since it is open source, i think there wont be any problems asking RRP to send/publish the remaining files. happy buildingby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hello Some extruder parts are laser cut... As for the number of carriages notice the "repeat" at the end of the chapter.. I would say that pla is strong enough. Cheersby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hey! Thanx for al the answers. I tried everything and in the first run it looks great... But then after a few layers, the filament starts to slip.. This is what i did : I paused, extruded by hand succesfully... And started the print again.. (resumed).. I will disassemple evthe hot end tomorrow. To see if there is andly blockage or i might have to ask RRP for some advice... Anyways thanxby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hello everyone. I could print the first Roboter succesfully in white.. As soon as I got it printed, I sliced another file.. (Buddah) but the filament started slipping. In order to solve these problems i have: - Tensioned the screw on the extruder so there is more pressure on the wheel. - Did not work - Redrilled the holes - did not work - Changed the tube and drilled the holes (2.5mm). - diby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hey, I just broke one rod today, newbie accident...., i might get the chance to lasercut one tomorrow.. Can i simply use the dxf file and cut the vectors or do i have to change something? And has anyone thought of doing the rods of CF? Cheersby upsch2000 - Fisher
Up and Running !!!!!!!!! Thanx you!by upsch2000 - Fisher
Yeah, Kind of my mistake... Sorry guys.. Y and Z endstop were connected wrong. I just wanted to write first , before I do the test . So if anyone wonders why the carriages wont stop .. check the connections with M119 so that the endstop are the meant for the motor.by upsch2000 - Fisher
Yeah, I should have mensioned, that I have changed the tensioners Screws to smaler ones because the carriages were hitting them after clicking with the endstop. So.. no worries about it but thanks for the notice!by upsch2000 - Fisher
Thanks to everyone who replied!! I will try out some things right now: Since the endstops are triggered by the endstops and the M119 command is working as it should, I will now check if the endstops really are for the motor that they are meant for.by upsch2000 - Fisher
Here is a video to the error, I Triend bending the endstops again and i have the same problem over again,.. Thanks again. .by upsch2000 - Fisher
Hello Guys, Sadly no one answered. My fisher is not homing at all... Once the Endstop ist tiggered, it doesnt stop and keeps going up and hangs in the corner of the side panel. Can somebody help me please ? Thanks in advanceby upsch2000 - Fisher
Hello everyone! I have been following this forum since the very beginning. I finally got mine as well but need some advice in two points. The endstop bending is quite difficult.. After i homed the fitst time, they were triggered but somehow the motors did not go the other way.. The other thing is that in the hotend loom, one connector slips out sometimes and i have to put it back in with aby upsch2000 - Fisher
You could just all print filament spool holders.. there are many on thingiverse. We should all be patient and not try to play god with the little delta..by upsch2000 - Fisher
QuotePheiPheiPhei Anyone finished their build yet and had it print something? I hope someone uploads a video of the printer working or even a short review and advices for the people who are still waiting for the beta kit. Cheers and happy printing!by upsch2000 - Fisher
