what are you planning on heating up to 300 ? trust me and everyone else when we tell you what you need if your new to this then listen to what you are being advised if your not then you should know better. sorry if I'm sounding harsh but we are trying to help. look at the diagram I gave you most people go this way because it works a 3mm borosilicate glass will work just fine. what plastic are youby wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants

what I did was to do away with the aluminium plate I found mine took an age to heat up. so I secured my pcb to the acrylic carrier of the printer the same way as to secure all of it. I then got some 3mm glass that sits on top of the pcb within the screw mounts using the clips you linked to it makes life a lot easier when you want to remove prints and warm up time is dramatically reduced.by wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants
those are the clips I used with my printer not had any issues yet.by wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants
I followed the instructions found here seemed to work for me. hope this helps. I also set my bed center in cura start g-code.by wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants
I`ve not got around to motors as of yet I'm still ironing the kinks with my 24v upgrade. I can tell you this about the mks base v1.3 as far as I'm aware it doesn't need separate stepper drivers ive not got them on mine and the pots you've mentioned are present. as with your X axis id try a motor from a different part of the print first one that you know is ok and see if there is any difference.by wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants
I started by buying a cheap Chinese diy kit from ebay and upgrading things each month still works out cheaper than most printers.by wampablo - United Kingdom RepRap User Group

hi I've only just stumbled upon this thread I ordered the same printer but I got mine through a guy in the states he had a GitHub page filled with info on this printer which I can see has been mentioned. anyway back to my printer I did away with the aluminium bed I found it took way to long to heat up. so I basically assembled it without it using the screws, springs and knurled nuts through the hby wampablo - Prusa i3 and variants
I cant say ive suffered from chassis wobble it does seem quite stable. I would however be interested in upping the power to the heat bed in an attempt to keep a higher temperature. I can get my bed up to 100 but it falls as soon as I start to print.by wampablo - Reprappers
I cant seem to get my bed above 90 but I am printing ABS yes with a little warping. the aluminium was thick about 5/6mm ish. I just want to upgrade power supply hot end basically everything except the frame and board.by wampablo - Reprappers
Hello all, Recently joined this forum to get to learn a bit more about 3d printing. I`ve printed a few things both for myself and for work. I`d like you to take a look at my printer I`ve noticed there has been a lot of flack regarding this printer on here but honestly it`s not been that much trouble for me pretty much built it and started printing right away, then I started to notice the odd thiby wampablo - Reprappers
hello all im new to this forum but id like to add my opinion if I may. I was a complete novice I didn't even know you could get different kind of printer setups. but I wanted one regardless so I took the plunge and bought the electron3d as mentioned at the start of this thread. reason being it was cheap I didn't have any great expectations for it but thought what the hell. I was surprise at justby wampablo - Reprappers
