Yes please upload photos!!! I will post the link of my scara when I start it will also provide all the info I already have and I think it is of useby jjuasjjuas2 - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
Hi! Nice printer Why not going two arms instead of parallel arms? It seems to me a more elegant mechanism and more easy to be covered and hide arms, wires ,etcc How about tip dropping? Do you have to compensate XY or does it print OK in all printing area? Thank you so much! I am going to design a single arm scara printer in a couple of weeks cheers!by jjuasjjuas2 - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
Hi! I am also interested on SCARA with servos and encoders, I am going to start the project in two weeks. This guy has posted his printer running on servos so you could use his code/experience Most people running printed gears have had problem with backlash, I was thinking on using belts and printed gears on top of the arm, also the encoders will be on top of that gear to reduce backlash to (almby jjuasjjuas2 - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
Hi! A we so me idea man, I want to build one since I was a kid. What about making gears with more teeth? It will improve accuracy and reduce accumulative errors. Are the accumulative errors always the same? I mean: if we can make a scientific rule that aproximates to the value, the printer would be super accurate and fast. Looking forwards to see videos and more pics Cheers!by jjuasjjuas2 - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
Puestos a pedir: que tal la idea de dejar un par de pines como salida auxiliar de 12 voltios y otros dos de 5 voltios? Para conectar leds, ventiladores etcccby jjuasjjuas2 - RepRap Usergroup - Argentina
500 kg/day? That is too much and very difficult to get but lets try!by jjuasjjuas2 - Plastic Extruder Working Group
Clemas compradas, arduino comprado, venga que nos vamos! Vaya pasada, muchísimas gracias!by jjuasjjuas2 - RepRap Usergroup - Argentina
Your motors musnt need that high current. 200 mA is enough, unless you have two Z motors (400mA) and the extruder (400 mA) I use a 12 wats heater resistor, and its really fine, and no heatbed, just tufnol. That way you save a lot of energy!by jjuasjjuas2 - Smart_Rap
Hi! I am bit off the road from the mega+ramps and would like to try another electronic board, as for example the TeensyLu. Have you had problems with it? I think it is not documentated enought, but wiring is easy and supports Marlin as longer as you define motherboard 8 Thank you and any comment is welcomeby jjuasjjuas2 - Controllers
Hello, I would like to introduce myself other way, but I must do it with a little problem... A friend of mine has printed the stl from the github repository, but he does not remember the version of them. As the stl are named without the number of the revision, I do not know the version and the vitamins I need to buy. Only know that the files were modificated last time the 13/8/2014 at the 13.40by jjuasjjuas2 - Smart_Rap
