The boards are from MakerBot, shoot me a PM and we can work something out.by TomReinke - For Sale
Never got around to even starting the RepRap project that I wanted to because of financial reasons so now I'm going to just let go of the PCB's and hopefully they will go to a good home. 1x RepRap Motherboard v1.2 PCB - $5 1x Extruder Controller v2.2 PCB - $3 4x Stepper Motor Driver v2.3 PCB - $5 each 5x Opto Endstop v2.1 - $1 each 1x Temperature Control Sensor v1.0 - $2 I'll let you know whatby TomReinke - For Sale
Well, it's official, there are no more Stepper Motor Driver PCB's or Kits left, anyone know where I can get PCB's for the Stepper Motor Drivers? Anyone know someone who has some?by TomReinke - General
Fremont here. Name is in the username. I'm looking for help on getting started with building a RepRap, me and my team mate are going to be making one for our senior project at DeVry and we want to know if anyone has any resources on where to get the electronic components that are available through DigiKey (Digikey has some nasty minimum parts per order that could cost more than $1000 per partby TomReinke - California, San Francisco Bay Area RUG
Okay. Bought all the PCB's minus the Stepper Motor Driver v2.3. Time to get this ball rolling. I'll be spending a lot of time in the IRC from now on.by TomReinke - General
The A3949SLB-T is actually for the extruder. The one that you linked to is the A3982SLB-T, but I managed to find the chip I was looking for on that website. Now I just need to find some blank PCB's for the v2.3 Stepper motor drivers.by TomReinke - General
If anyone has an extra laying around and is willing to part with it I'd be more than happy to take it off of their hands for them because that's the only thing besides the bare PCB's for the Stepper Motor Drivers v2.3 that I can't find.by TomReinke - General
I suppose I could just get the PCB's and do the soldering myself. That'd be more fun anyways.by TomReinke - General
So do I have any alternatives as to where I can get the Gen 3 parts that are the same versions as the one as in those kits? My senior project is riding on getting these parts - so maybe I should talk to the guy in charge of MakerBot and offer some money on top for the kit? :/by TomReinke - General
I've been looking around and the only other place that seems to sell Gen 3 parts is bits from bytes, but they're a little on the expensive side and they don't sell their parts in individual pieces, they sell them as kits so if I was to mess something up I'd be SOL on that piece. Where do you guys all shop for your bits and pieces of your Rep Raps? Also: Anyone have any word on why Makerbot is sby TomReinke - General
I'm not 100% sure about it, in fact I'm not even 50% sure about it, but when you're looking through the Gcode of your file, there seems to be a line in there that states: (homing routing) M104 S220 T0 (Temperature to 220 celsius) G21 (Metric FTW) G90 (Absolute Positioning) G92 X0 Y0 Z0 (You are now at 0,0,0) (You have failed me for the last time, MakerBot) G0 Z15 (Move up for test extrusion) M10by TomReinke - General
I actually saw the Menlo Park meeting at Techshop but it is a little too short of notice to make it. I've been checking out makerbot too, seems that I can find most/all of the parts that I'm going to need there except for the extruders, but as I can see they're moving so as soon as they're done moving they'll probably start stocking back up again. The fact of me finding some place to machine aby TomReinke - General
Hello all. I've been doing research on making my own RepRap for about 2-3 weeks now gathering all of the information that I can about these amazing machines and what they can do. I've had my heart set on making a RepStrap 1.0 Seedling machine for my senior project at DeVry in Fremont, CA. I've got a couple really big questions though that I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me with. Fiby TomReinke - General
