Chris, That's the same issue I was getting and have reported here. My current solution to this is to run every print from the microSD card. You can get one of these for the RAMPS boards from Kliment in the reprap irc channel. The M110 N-1 is repsnapper's way of starting a print. It sets the line number to -1 so the first line of Gcode sent has line number N0. So in this failure mode, repsnappeby jmgiacalone - General
Hello, The plan is to order all of the machined parts at the end of the campaign. So in the 5th week after that, I will ship the first 8 machines, and average 5 per week thereafter. Machines will be shipped to backers in the order in which people invested, and shipping will be charged at cost based on location. If I do not sell all 100 machines, the campaign will still go ahead, but I may haveby jmgiacalone - For Sale
After months of development and testing, the eMAKER Huxley 3D printer is now ready for a limited run of 100 machines as part of our beta test program. This beta program is being run as an indiegogo crowd funding campaign, and you can find all details here. Details and full instructions, as well as design files and all software will be published on our website in due course. Any questions, pleaby jmgiacalone - For Sale

richrap, Can you describe how the noise caused your electronics to stop? Did the firmware reset? Did the serial link go down? Did it cause comms errors? I use a Toshiba laptop PSU, which gives 120W at 19v. Not sure if that's good or bad really. Thanks.by jmgiacalone - General
brnrd, Thanks for the temperature update suggestion. I will try that later. I actually print at 50mm/s, and usually get only one comms error around line 15 during a print, even one that is 30,000 lines long. My serial baud rate is set to 115200, and I don't get any pauses during a print (other than the frustrating error described in this topic), even when doing multi faceted circles (which I aby jmgiacalone - General
For a number of weeks now I have been plagued by my prints randomly stopping before the end of the print. Sometimes I can print many times with no problem, other times prints fail quite frequently. I first noticed this in Repsnapper, where for no apparent reason Repsnapper issues an N-1 M110 command mid print, as if it has reached the end of the gcode file. This issue has in fact been reported asby jmgiacalone - General
Sebastian, By that rationale, the teacup topic (for example) should also not be in the forum. But I disagree, as I think these forum topics are a very good way to communicate to those people interested in a particular topic. People can follow topics which interest them (with email updates), whereas signing up to the reprap-dev list (as far as i can see) will inundate users with all messages. Hello, I'm always on the lookout for cheaper build materials. I currently get mine from here so if you can beat that (including shipping to the UK), then I would be interested. Thanks, Jean-Marc.by jmgiacalone - Wanted
I use a 120W, 19v (6.3A) laptop power supply to run my Huxley, and this performs well with 5 stepper motors, running from 4 pololu chips, and also includes a PCB heated bed. Do bear in mind that most people's stepper motors aren't rated for 2A (per coil). Also the standard resistor for a reprap extruder nozzle is 6.8Ohms, which gives 1.76A at 12v (22W power). And that's at full power during warmby jmgiacalone - Sanguino(lolu)
Hello everyone, Thank you very much for you advice. Deleting the old settings did the trick along with entering large values. Just need to print now and check I've stretched enough.by jmgiacalone - Skeinforge
thanks brupje, however those settings make no difference on my setup. how much bigger were your holes after setting those values?by jmgiacalone - Skeinforge
Has anyone else managed to get the Stretch feature to work in sf 39? No matter what settings I try, the Stretch function just seems to alter the start and end points of a circle, but have virtually no effect on the size of the circle (less than 0.01mm difference in the output GCode). The external size of my prints is quite accurate, I just want my holes to be bigger. My test piece which should hby jmgiacalone - Skeinforge

Hey guys, I took the bowden off my repstrap in the end, but I am using one on my eMAKER Huxley. This is feeding 1.75mm filament through a 250mm long bowden tube, (AphoticJester: how is your bowden tube only 40mm long?!), and after a few hours of tuning I have almost got rid of all blobs. I'm having to use quite large reversal moves (35mm). My gcode isn't straight skeinforge either. I use skeinby jmgiacalone - Plastic Extruder Working Group

Hey guys, I have been in touch with these guys, which I think Erik DB mentioned a while back. Anyway, I received a sample of TW13 last week which was a little too tight on 1.75mm filament. I plan on ordering some PT2x3 this week. Alternatively, these people also do PTFE tube.by jmgiacalone - Wanted

That sounds great. As the parts are neither bulky nor heavy, I don't think shipping will be too expensive. I just shipped a Wade's extruder set to New York for the equivalent of less than $10US.by jmgiacalone - Wanted
