Making waterproof vessels

Hi

Does anybody have any experience in reprapping objects that can hold water? What's the best way of waterproofing them after they've been made?

I'm interested in experimenting with making siphon-based fluidic logic - inspired by hydrostatic fluidic systems like this:

I would say so, yes: [reprap.org] (from [reprap.org] )

It's fully possible to print a object which is watertight straight out of the printer, you need several fully filled bottom layers and several perimeters to ensure it's sealed though.

You can also smooth the surface of the print with acetone (works best with ABS), which could form a better seal.
