Connecting a PSU power supply to an i3 Prusa XL

I've been building my first 3D printer, I'm just about to wire my power supply to RAMPS 1.4 and wanted to make sure I'm not going to destroy my electronics.

This is the back of the PSU output is 20A 12V

Here is the ramps board

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about electronics, I'm not sure which outlets to connect.

I use these type of supply on all my RAMPS setups.
Connect positive to positive on each of the RAMPS and PSU connections and do the same with the negative.

If you are using Auto Bed Leveling you also need a 5 volt supply and that is best made by using a 7805 regulator chip connected to one of the RAMPS 12 volt connections, the third leg from the regulator is the 5 volt out put and that goes to the 5 volt connection on the RAMPS board.

Sorry, tangent from your post. What kind of PSU is that? Is there a name for the type that has the power distribution bar like that as opposed to an ATX PC PSU?

I don't think those power supplies have a standard name that describes them. They are 12V switching power supplies, usually used to drive LED's. The cheap Chinese ones off of eBay (and elsewhere) are really hit-and-miss when it comes to quality and longevity. Meanwell (and other name-brand manufacturers) make good quality supplies at a higher price. Something like this: [www.meanwell.com]
