Extruder stops working halfway through print

Hi everyone,I Need help,what's happening.
I have just finished my build and thought I would print from sd card.that came with the kit.
First of all the bottom. The bottom layers seem too thin and as it prints after about a depth of about 5 MM. it just stops extruding.i admit I'm not the greatest at setting it up but why would it just stop?.any remarks will be rearlly helpful.
