Doesn't that just mean you have to mount the extruder and hot end higher up?

I thought the hexagon was a US creation (early developments) then adopted by the EU and the RepRap.me friendly crowd. china mashed it! just wish it was sorter.Quote

I don't think it was always a chinese product, I think one of the old reprap based companies started it up and then lulzbot adopted it.
