Problems with SainSmart Mega 2560 R3

I tried to upload sketches (marlin) to the board but I always got a timeout error and the sketch was not uploaded.
I am using Win 7.
The board is found by windows and COM2 or COM10 is assigned.
I have tried various cables.
Changed the USB port.
Used an additional external poweradapter ( 7V)

The yellow pin13 LED is constantly blinking.
Then I tried one hint from another forum and pressed shift while uploading to execute the "verbose" mode.
I was able to upload "BlinK" but it also didn´t worked.
No timeout message but a not sync message appeared.
Later I uploaded the RAMPS test sketch [reprap.org] using the same method (shift+upload). But I do not get an connect neither in cura nor a reaction when I attach the steppers and run the RAMPs test sketch.
The blinking of pin13 will also appear if there is no USB cable connected but only the powersupply.
Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Have you installed the Arduino driver from within the Arduino s/ware?

Now what is this RAR file, a driver? a new bootloader? Does she mean driver when she says "drive"? I am using WIn 7 and I have installed Arduino IDE 1.5.4. Should I really go back to 1.0.1? The 2650 V3 is brandnew.

Hi. Did you configured baud rate?

Which baud rate?
I have tried various settings in the systemtray starting with 9600 but Arduino SW would always come up with "overriding baudrate to 115000"
I have not altered the baud rate in the config file. Should I try this as well?

Now this is "funny". The downloadlink they gave me is a packed PDF for the UNO R3 not the MEGA 2560.
The company name is ProfitVanity(!) from China. The controller (is said to be) one from Saint Smart.

Let´s see if they come up with a solution or if this remains blabla....

I would step back to Arduino 1.05. 1.5x is not production ready.

The 1.5x series (which is still pretty beta) are only properly tested on the Due (SAM3X), and support for the Mega and other (AVR) boards isn't really their priority.

Once 1.5x has settled down, they'll update the AVR side of things.
