anyone tried a digital thermocouple amp like the MAX6675? they're so much cheaper than the AD595 that I'll try it when it comes to extruder makin' time

And I see, that Zach has finally taken my advice and put that chip into the design for the 4th gen electronics.

Right now if I were to buy this part by itself, would cost around NZ$50 including shipping.
