Ok so I have verified the configuration file powered with external 12v power supply and updated the firmware to English and adjusted the baud rate to all 4 settings with resets in between but I cannot get this screen to work with my ramps board. is there anything I am missing?
1. loaded firmware
2. plugged into ramps aux1 port
3. adjusted baud rate
4. reset
5. still not working.

ramps must be set to serial 0 in firmware (you may have moved it, for say a bluetooth setup)
Find out what your serial is actually set to, don’t guess. (and you may have set it to something non tft28 compatible)
Don't have the usb cable connected to the ramps, its the same serial port the tft28 uses.
