Zapp stepper motor wiring + other questions.

In the Wiki It says what connections for the lin engineering one but not the Zapp one.
On the circuit board it has 2B 2A 1A 1B
Are the letters on the left of the table matched up to the same pololu pin.
So 2B would connect to black, 2A would connect to green, 1A would connect to red and 1B connect to blue.

Could some with the Zapp motors check this please?

Another few questions.
Can I print onto wood?
What thermistor shall I use for the heated print bed?
When opening the RepRap console, Is it ok that I get "error opening port: /dev/ttyUSBO" in the command prompt window? I find it doesn't load STL files and a few other things don't work.

Thanks in advance.thumbs up

No, you must put a glass on wood. a 20x20x4mm glass is cheap. Remember the temperature is more than 200ºC: too much for wood.

Don't worry about this, must be sure can handle, at least 250ºC and make a table with the utility for that and modify your firmware.
Take a look at this page: [reprap.org]

First to all, must config your comm port. press parameters bottom an change /dev/ttyUSB0 for your comm port device (if windows, must called "COM2" or similar.
I have problems with repraphost and STL load/convert to gcode so i'm currently using RepSnapper for windows for genetare GCODE from stl files and RepRapHost for send GCODE Files to printer.

Thanks

It's still giving that error message, just with COM3 instead of USB0. At first I thought it was because the computer wasn't connected to the circuit board. But it still says it when it is connected.

I take it 'COM3' is the usb socket?

No, 'COM3' is the Virtual COM port connected to the FTDI USB/RS232 chip via USB.
