hellow every one!

i am new in this reprap forum.

> I am building reprap 3d printer.

> I found difficulty in availability of stepper drivers in my country so i construct them with the help of IC l297 and l298 by using following reprap link .
[reprap.org]

Now i have two problems:

1) how to connect these drivers with ramps 1.4.
2) what rating of power supply should i use?

i will be very thankful if any one help me out on this problem.

Waiting for your soonest reply!!

just connect the enable, direction and step pins from the ramp board to the corresponding pins on your driver board... also if possible try to look for a tb6560 based driver board as this driver based on the l297 and l298 is outdated and will not give you quality prints as it only supports 1/2 stepping and you need a minimum of 1/8 stepping for a decent print , also your printer will be very noisy....

best way is to source the pololus from ebay.... it will save you a lot of head and heart aches

dear friend ekaggrat ,

some people use T5 timing belt and some use T2.5. Does it requires any change in firmware?

waiting for your reply!
