Netfab says stl is ok, slic3r makes a monster out of it. I beg you

I modeled this thing in rhino, I managed to get a good export from Netfab but Slicer is not reading it as I see it in Netfab.
Please help me...I've been struggling with this for a week now and can't find what is wrong.

Ok stl from netfab : http://postimg.org/image/3ve0foy1t/

Monster from slic3r: http://postimg.org/image/cp4wwsl0h/

Also, can you please tell me if netfab+slicer is an ok software combination? Should I look into something else?

If you can post the .stl file then I'm sure someone will try and fix the file for you.

I use NetFabb all the time but unfortunately it's not right every time.

The netfabb Cloud Service fixes a lot of problems that netfabb Studio Basic doesn't even see!

I tried using it now and it's still not enough. Thanks a lot for telling me about it, though!

Your STL file is a mess, even the netfabb Cloud Service couldn't fix it!

sad smiley I exported the stl from rhino, but previously, I checked the mesh there and it said it ïs a good mesh".
I now tried opening it in Kisslicer and it looks normal but it exports something monstrous again. What am I doing wrong?

Look at it with netfabb Studio Basic.
The STL file is garbage and neither netfabb Studio Basic nor netfabb Cloud Service could fix it!

I could be your version of Rino 3d has a bad STL export code or your setting for the STL export are wrong.

When looking at the STL file that you attached to your first post in this thread I see:

If you now have a different STL file then please post it.

Try this one!

I ran it through the cloud.netfabb and netfabb Studio Basic.
If this one doesn't work then I am out of ideas... drinking smiley

this is how it looks like when I try and slice it. Does Slic3r read it correctly for you?

Thank you everyone for your help!

How do you locally fix .stl files? *Much* prefer commandline approach. I have problems with dissappearances in slic3r.(with both outputs from openscad and implicitscad, the latter still seems superior to me) I dont want to put such problems in uploads. And they can probably be compressed a bunch too. Stuff like:
meshlabserver -i file.stl -s ~/.meshlab.d/simp.mlx -o file.stl -om vc vn
.. doesnt seem to do anything. I do think i know how to make the script, just apply filters and then save the filter script?

But even if that script worked, though i do know some stuff in meshlab that works for me(a lot of them crash meshlab) and simplifies, but i havent been able to find a set of transformations that fix the object.

Of course, there is still the possibility that there is a bug in slic3r.
