making copies in object placement

Is there a way to duplicate 1 or more items loaded onto the grid in the Object Placement screen?
If I load and arrange say 4 small items, then I want to have that row of items 3 more times on the grid, being able to select, then Ctrl-C + Ctrl-V to copy and paste would be cool.
ATM I seem to have to use the Add STL dialogue for each individual added item.

Also - intermittently, when adding STLs, the Object Placement screen switches to a seemingly random viewpoint - is this controllable, can I fix it at top-View?

Currently this is not supported, but it will come. It will also include a auto place function, so you can even copy several marked objects and fill the bed.

The problem is the closing file dialog. If it lies above the graphic, the click is also registered here causing the change. I will see if I find a trick to prevent this.
