RepRapPro Mono Mendel with Repetier-Host?

Hi all..

Wondering if anyone has used any RepRapPro machine using Repetier-Host software, as when I connect it seems connected but nothing happens.

If I need to upload Repetier-Firmware on the Melzi board it says for Huxley but it does not mention the Mono Mendel.

Has anyone tried this configuration?

hallo,

first of all, witch os are you using? Mac, Windows, Linux?
I have a ReprepPro Mono Mendel with standert marlin firmware.
It works with reptier host on Windows and Mac OS X Maveriks without any problems.
Make sure you set the baud rate in the repetier printer settings to 115200

I am using Win7 64 bits.

The marlin firmware is the one shipped with the RepRapPro Mono Mendel? I mean the RepRapPro Marlin firmware?

Or you mean the standard Marlin is another I should upload to the Melzi conroler.?

I just set correct "Port" and "Baud rate = 115200" (Config -> Printer settings).It is working on my printer with original RepRapPro Mono Mendel firmware.

Thank you but,
I have tried those settings.. as I know the baud rate has to be 115200 plus the correct port. sad smiley

not sure what could be happening.. as also my brother has another RepRapPro Mendel and we still can not use Repetier-Host

Make sure protocol is not binary, mendel does not support this. What do you see in the log window at the bottom when you connect?

Hi,

It connects but does not do anything.

Log window does not capture anything also.

But the botton status bar says

Connected:default Extruder:0.00C command waiting, if I send e.g M555 or M503 the command waiting increase.
