I got a tiny bit of time and popped this out. The article on EEtimes.com will be coming soon.by calebkraft - General
I've gotten 2 functional entries and declaired them both winners. http://thecontrollerproject.com/ifixit-controller-contest-winner-1/ http://thecontrollerproject.com/ifixit-controller-contest-winner-2/ I could always use more (I can give away 3 more kits from ifixit). I personally want to make a simple 3d printable version of #2 but haven't had the time.by calebkraft - General
Thanks Jebba! I actually just printed and installed the new carriage yesterday and it did help a bit. Now I'm just trying to figure out some of these last annoyances. I posted here in the reprap forums since I didn't think this was an issue with the Ao-100 so much as a general settings issue most likely. I have pointed a fan at the printer and that has made a huge difference. I haven't tested tby calebkraft - Printing
I have not! I wish there was a way to spread it to all the thingiverse people as well, but then I'd be a tiny bit concerned about makerbot somehow "owning" it.by calebkraft - General
Hello all, I have a Lulzbot AO-100 that needs a little help to get print quality where it should be. I'll try to give all the information necessary here for you to tell me what needs to be done. In this contest, I suspect people with basic design skills will shine. I know of 4 people right now that would use this if I could print them a part and mail it to them. I started designing one myself, but thought that this waby calebkraft - General

Hey, I'm Caleb Kraft. I used to run Hackaday.com and as I left, I started thecontrollerproject.com. It is a place for tinkerers to help people with physical disabilities. We basically help build computer/gaming interfaces for them. I'm running a small contest for a simple part design. Basically, I'm looking for a 3d printable lever system that can move the triggers to the top of the controllerby calebkraft - General
I personally talked with Rylan who designed this. When he showed me the idea (before the kickstarter), I mentioned the whole formlabs patent violation issue. He was completely unaware and didn't seem to have a plan in place for this eventuality. I do not know if any of his partners came prepared to deal with it either.by calebkraft - General
