Got it to work so our dual extruder prints 2 things at the same time (not 2 carriages just 1 dual extruder carriage). I had everything working fine but 2nd extruder wouldn't extrude. The fix: Make sure in Configuration.h you set #define DISABLE_INACTIVE_EXTRUDER false Or else the 2nd extruder is inactive.by gordo3di - General
Quoteyellobello The problem with babystepping is that it is mostly needed during the first layer, depending on model size and print speed, and so when you have to go through the menus to activate babystepping, the print is already halfway through the first layer. Try moving the z-axis baby stepping to the top of the Tune menu. This way its very quick to get to it. Works great for us.by gordo3di - Firmware - mainstream and related support
Same problem as Napalm. A few notes: 1. When engaging the switch, M600 runs two times (as mentioned). Then i tried it again and it ran 3 times, then 4 times. It seems like it won't run more than 4 times. Note this happens when the printer is actually printing something. 2. When printing from a host I can send M600 and it will only run once as expected. 3. I found a solution that finally works for me and the answer was in front of my face. I used the latest slic3r (RC 1.0) but older versions work fine. On the main screen on the right side you will see two drop down boxes under the filament heading. In older versions this is below. I think this only comes up if you have two extruders defined but i haven't checked. The first drop down is for extrudeby gordo3di - Slic3r
