Greetings to all! I have to set auto bed leveling in my 3d printer. I have placed inductive sensor in it. The problem is when I give homing command, XY axis homing is done but while Zaxis homing. eventhough the sensor is ON, the Z axis moves down rather to stop. I use 6-36V inductive sensor. Which is connected by voltage regulator. And also once the Zmin gets TRIGGERED, it is always TRIGGERED.by Baalaji V - Printing

Hi everyone! In my DIY Delta 3d printer I need to do Auto bed leveling using Inductive sensor. I use Marlin 1.1.8 and I use 6-36V inductive sensor. I have connected it with a voltage regulator. (Or suggest some other technique for Auto bed leveling) I saw some videos and tried as like that but nothing worked out. I checked the working of the sensor, No problem in it. I also checked with pronterfaby Baalaji V - General
Hi everyone. I'm doing a Delta printer from scratch. I need a Firmware. Please suggest a firmware link for delta printer. Which is best either marlin or repetier firmware? Thanks and regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - Delta Machines
Thanks for your suggestion @Dust. I solved the problem. The problem is in non working thermistor. I made it work. Thanks and regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - General
I have checked by using arduino 1.8.5 but the issue remained same. And I also tried with uploading using arduino 1.8.7 but no change. I have attached my configuration.h file below. Thanks and regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - General
I reinstalled Ramps test code. It all worked fine. All the 4 leds blinked continuously(flickering) and all the motors worked perfectly. And I uploaded new marlin 1.1.7 and still the same problem. Previously tried with I installed marlin 1.1.8, 1.1.9. I checked voltage across hotbed connection while running ramps test code, it is about 11.4V. And when I checked after uploading Marlin in the sameby Baalaji V - General
Z axis homing worked fine. Thanks sir. The motherboard configuration is #ifndef MOTHERBOARD #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB #endif thanks and with regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - General
In my Ramps LED 2 gets Lighted up continuously when connected with PSU. I replaced a new ramps and checked but no change. And the hotend doesn't gets heated up when controlling using pronterface. But when I ran Ramps test code the Hotend got heated. Thanks and regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - General
Okay thanks will check it. with regards Baalajiby Baalaji V - General
Hi. I have done a Prusa model DIY 3d printer. I have a problem in Z axis Homing. I use Pronterface to control the movements of XYZ axis motor. when manual feeding is done, three stepper motors runs perfectly. But when homing is done XY motors runs perfectly but Z axis motors gets vibrated and then stops. I have attached a video clip of it. In this first I moved all the axis for some distance andby Baalaji V - General

My extruder isn't extruding the filament to hotend. It is running normally but it can't able to push the filament outside. It just vibrates. What will be extruders steps per rev? Thanks and regards Baalaji vby Baalaji V - General
Thanks I will check it. Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
I fixed the extruder. And now after connection with ramps when I used Pronterface to run the extruder it shows 'cold extrusion prevented' and at the same time the hotend is not heated up(The Hotend LED is glowing). But when M302 command is passed the status is 'cold extrusion is disabled'. I checked the voltage across hotend connection, it shows 11.71V in each wire. Both were working properly wheby Baalaji V - General
I changed the step revolution and now it runs perfectly. Thank you all. With regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
Now I used Cura to convert .stl to .gcode. Now it is running. Initially it sets Homeing and then starts printing. But the problem is, it starts printing after Z axis moves approx.120mm(measured manually) and then starts printing. How to configure so that printing is done in bed level. I have attached the video link. Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
The 3D printer works correctly as per the given command. Now checking the slicing software. Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
Homeing is done properly. Problem is when I upload a part into it, homeing is done and then it moves upward in Z axis and then moves in +ve X axis and then stops for a while later shows printer halted. Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
Now I just uploaded a 50x50x50mm cube part into the 3d printer. I changed from .stl to .gcode using Slic3r. I have set the bed temp and hotend temp to 0. After this when I uploaded to the 3d printer, it automatically sets to home position and then starts travel along Z axis and then stops for a while and stops. Atlast the Pronterface shows printer halted. While doing this I didn't change theby Baalaji V - General
I have configured to MIN position from starting stage. QuoteSupraGuy #define X_HOME DIR -1 #define Y_HOME_DIR -1 #define Z_HOME_DIR -1 Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
I measured the distance it is about X= 10, Y= 15. I changed the settings as said. But while compiling it shows some error. QuoteDust 2) it takes the home poistion to be what ever you set in marlin // Travel limits (mm) after homing, corresponding to endstop positions. #define X_MIN_POS 0 #define Y_MIN_POS 0 #define Z_MIN_POS 0 so say your X endstop is at -15, then you should set #define X_MIN_POS -15 How to get the position value? I set the printer to home position but I didn't get the position in the command aby Baalaji V - General
1) Homeing is set. I configured the bed limits in marlin.(Just changed the value as 150mm from 200mm for X,Y,Z axis). 2) I have a doubt, does the printer takes home position as origin(0,0,0). or what to do? 3) I need to test the printer. How can I run without heating the hotend. Because in pronterface it shows, No heating so printer stopped. Thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
Yea I have placed Endstops in X, Y and Z axis. All fine. And homeing is set. thanks and regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
I have placed the limit switch in Xmin, Xmax, Ymin and Ymax. And the limit switch is in Normally closed condition. I send M119 command in pronterface. The limit switch status was OPEN when there is no contact with the limit switch and when the switch is in contact the status says TRIGGRED. SENDING:M119 Reporting endstop status x_min: open x_max: open y_min: open y_max: open z_min: TRIGGERED z_maby Baalaji V - General

After connecting all the motors in my 3d printer, I use pronterface to control my 3d printer. But now kindly tell me how to set limits and to move xyz axis in negative direction. My printing volume is 180mmx180mmx130mm. While using pronterface, when I select Home option for x,y&z axis it moves about 5mm in positive direction every single time. Sometimes it shows, 'Printer halted. kill() calby Baalaji V - General
Thank you very much @Dust for your guide. My 3D printer is almost completed. It is incomplete without you. Thanks with regards Baalaji Vby Baalaji V - General
I ran the Ramps test code. Its all perfectly working. Thank you @Dust for clarifying me that the mistake is not in Electronic circuit. Now please tell me what would be the problem and further what can I do to run my 3D printer using this shield?by Baalaji V - General
