You know what, I am seeing the same thing when I decided to try 0.9.2. I get this wavy perimeter and I thought it was my z axis acting up since there was a pattern going on. Every couple of layers, it gets wider and then after a few more layers after that, it gets smaller. I switched back to 0.9.1 using the same settings created in 0.9.2 and get the same results. Here's my take of it. It's not the best of quality as I was hoping to be but at least it didn't fail. There was one section where the bridging was failing, causing it to blob all over the place and I was debating to bail on the print. Although, after a few layers, it seemed to correct itself and I figured I just touch it up later with some sanding and acetone welding/smoothing. Going back to fineby gyronictonic - Competitions

Boston (chinatown) here. I too would like to get into the RepRap scene. I've been wanting to build one for months and debated whether to purchase the MakerBot or assemble the Prusa RepRap. If we could setup meet ups in the Boston area, I would most definitely go for the RepRap route.
