i have the generic 12v power supply from techzone, i see where the wires are hooked into, but cannot seem to figure out where the wires are connected at the other end. just confused alittle with eh lack of pictures to refer to.by morrist - General
bbrigstkd, Thank you for those links, dont have any idea how i missed those. that helps tremendously. i have one more question about the wiring, i am using this link it doesnt appear to address how the 12v power supply is connected and how to wire power to the whole reprap for the power supply. is there possibly another link i am missing? And the firmware is already burned, does this mean it caby morrist - General
Hey all, My construction is almost done, i am maybe 1 or 2 days from being finished with my Mendel. i am installing the flags for the end-stops currently. i don't see much instruction for the wiki as to how to make the flags. i bought the tech zone kit, and i don't see any flags, but just a metal sheet, maybe that just needs to be cut? also, the tech-zone extruder kit doesnt seem to have much inby morrist - General

Hey all, MY reprap is 99% done with the mechanical construction. I have just downloaded the reprap software from the wiki. When i try to run the reprap.bat file, the command window comes up, and there seems to be an error that prevents it from running. I don't exactly know alot about programming, but i am willing to learn. but if someone could explain to me what these things mean, it would be grby morrist - General
hey, still working on my build, looking at the software side. On the wiki, it says i need to download the sanguino add on for the arduino environment. When i go to the sanguino link, i can't seem to find anywhere that mentions this or where to download it. thanks morristby morrist - General
Hello all, i posted on here for the first time maybe 6 months ago or so about the reprap mendel. I have finally bought a kit and the rp parts. My frame is nearing completion. I have the techzone electronics kit for my reprap. I wanted to run a few questions by everyone before i start my build. First, the electronics should be pre programmed, so hopefully i can skip the step. My first step i belby morrist - General

hey all, ive downloaded openscad for windows and seem to have an interesting problem with it. when i do the example with the difference from the wikipedia manuel, it only renders two cylinders of different colors, rather than cutting one away. here is the code from the example union() { cylinder (h = 4, r=1, center = true, $fn=100); rotate ([90,0,0]) cylinder (h = 4, r=0.9, center = true, $fnby morrist - General

getting ready to purchase a reprap kit from tech zone. wondering how the build quality is with the laser cut wood parts, dunno if anyone on here has experience with it, but if you have i'd like to hear your two cents on it. also, what are the differences in extruders? -thanks ~morristby morrist - General
alright, thanks for all those tips. im going to download openscad and wings 3d and check it out. after i acquire some funds i will purchase a reprap. hopefully in a week or so ~morristby morrist - General

hey everyone, -new to the forum here, but i have been reading alot about the reprap project. i plan on buying one of the kits from tech zone. and my first question is about the programming itself. 1.) what is the most common way of drawing an object and printing it? i am not at all familiar with any of this but am willing to read and learn. are the objects drawn and then exported to tby morrist - General
