Hi! Im in the need to tidy up the wires coming from the fans (hotend and layer), thermistor and heater block, in some other fashion than just leaving them there, floating in the air and "moving" with the X carriage and risking wiring breakup. I need ideas or even better, printed parts if they ever exist! How do you tidy your E3D connectors? Mind some pics of your setups / E3Dv6 Printheads PLEby bolsoncerrado - General

Im not sure on the CubeX but Cube3, CubePro and Eko use the same boards and very similar firmwares.by bolsoncerrado - General
Just in case any Cube3/Pro owners read this thread, the firmwares have been hacked to allow third party filament !!!by bolsoncerrado - General
@obelisk79 mind sharing your firmware file for that 300% increase? Which marlin release did you use? Cheers! Quoteobelisk79 I'm going to be the one defending ramps 1.4. It's the cheapest solution, and while the CubeX has solid mechanics it isn't going to be printing at any speed/capacity that board and it's compatible firmwares couldn't support. Others will argue with me regarding quality oby bolsoncerrado - General
Makes sense, I shall try though.by bolsoncerrado - General
Finally did, on black friday grabbed one of these, lolby bolsoncerrado - General
Btw we're also trying to hack/reprap/liberate the Cube3: Any help will be appreciated!by bolsoncerrado - General
Are we Mac users able to slice with Simplify3D and feed our Cube3's ? I'm getting a CubeX for $495 brand new (i hope!) so some of you got very good deals on them!!by bolsoncerrado - General

ANy1 else wanna input anything?by bolsoncerrado - General
Thanks. Thing here though is while Blendtec blender delivers 1500Watt power, there's currently a 1250W blender on Amazon right now for 60Eur... Not sure if its worth to spend 600EUR on one of these shredders without first testing one of the 60eur units.... thats why I opened this thread first, but apparently no one cares about environment! Oh well! So you basically trash all the failed printsby bolsoncerrado - General
OK never tried looking for "real shreders" acutally... aren't they "bulkier"? Anyone got links?by bolsoncerrado - General
Actually meant these:by bolsoncerrado - General
I guess some of you haven't seen what a Blendtec is capable of do right? Its even capable of converting a pile of neodimium magnets to DUST inside its "plastic" jar.... without breaking anything... Do you really think PLA will be that hard? heheby bolsoncerrado - General
Hi! about to get a kickstarter "make your own filament" extruder+winder solution so i was wondering what to do with all the failed prints im keeping in a box... I was looking at the Blendtec "solution" instead of the windmill solutions which often look ugly and tend to send plastic into pieces everywhere in the room (lol)... Given a "blendtec" delivers 1250W of power and is capable of turningby bolsoncerrado - General
Got a GEEETECH RUMBA board which I set up with Marlin and printed 3 sets of pieces just fine. During the fourth print, i notice the extruder was not extruding plastic at all so I initially thought of it having got clogged, so I did cancel the print, remove the extruder, clean up the hod end, and re mount. After that, hot end was no longer heating. After checking everything I could starting witby bolsoncerrado - Reprappers

no communications "at all"? the OS recognizes the board, the TX binks (so it must RX something...)... THere's bootloader and Marlin loads fine, but I dont need the "outofthebox" marlin, just my own version. How do i force baudrate then? Although i'm 99% sure baudrate is set correctly. Thanks!by bolsoncerrado - General
HI! Trying to update ATMega2560 firmware on MacOS Mavericks, this is what I've done so far: 1) installed latest Arduino software (nightly) 2) chosen the correct board and processor (yes, board DOES appear recognized by MacOS) 3) tried different USB ports on the computer 4) uploading firmware makes the TX blink for a sec and every time it blinks, a timeout is displayed in the verbose window. 5)by bolsoncerrado - General
