Ok thanks Your mount with the top flattened out should work then! I have spent the last 2 nights adding 4mm alli strips to the bottom of the bed support to take as much flex out off it as I canby Suggy - General
Simon quick question if I may please? Is it open or closed? Think about the weight off a large print false triggering!by Suggy - General
QuoteDjDemonD Yes, you would need to adapt the upper most part to hold the bed on in some way. What I envisaged was two sensor assemblies with corner shaped relief in them, and one with a flat sided relief, for the middle of the opposite side of the bed. Other than that I cannot see why not, but I'd consider using a 27mm version which would be these enlarged by 135%, as the 20mm version holds myby Suggy - General
Ok thanks I have contacted them via aliexpress, and wechat and ali messenger, not got any response yet. Could you upload the documentation you have???????? pleaseby Suggy - Controllers
How many off you got a card with the board?by Suggy - Controllers
QuoteDjDemonD Just to say the bed mounts I designed work very well. Its so sensitive I can blow on the bed and get a trigger! Measured the force required to trigger, using scales on the bed, 4 grams is all it takes. Can this be converted to go on a standard 3 point bed?by Suggy - General
QuoteGraphoid Just started test wiring mine, all seems ok for me so far, no issue with the endstop reversal that titef007 mentioned, but I am rewiring with new connectors anyway so I can have the right cabling from the start. So far with V2 beta1 firmware, nothing to worry about, other than the interface is a little different to the current documentation, but it is not rocket science and prettyby Suggy - Controllers
Thanks for the info, Will investigate on Monday when I get home.by Suggy - General
Hi Mike It has made no difference weather the nut was tight or not. What I did to setup is No bed a just nuts. Wind pressure pad down to touch the piezo then a 1/4 turn more, tested and no go. Put bed ajusting nuts on still no go. I have even tryed putting bed ajustment nuts on 1st then winding pressure pad down followed by a 1/4 turn with same results. I know it's some thing to do with the bed sby Suggy - General
No worrys. I have something in mind that should work for me but I would like to come up with something every one could useby Suggy - General
Thanks, if its owt like my 40th wont remember much the day after How did you get on with the mount your working on?by Suggy - General
Yes I have around 12 left (I think) will give it a try. May be Monday as going away for the weekend, big party Turning 50 on sunday Bloody old age gets in the way of all the good stuffby Suggy - General
Don't think there is a fault, see 2 vids. 1 with normal polarity and 1 reversed. Firmeware changed back to trueby Suggy - General
Quoteleadinglights Photo is nice and clear but I can't see the bed level adjusting nut - I assume that tests must have been done with this in place since this is the bit through which the pressure is transmitted to the piezo. Try very lightly flexing the piezo - if this gets no response I think that the amplifier may have failed for some reason. Mike There are no level nuts on when I took the phby Suggy - General
Depending on the thiknees of your build surface you may feel the lines underneathby Suggy - General
Very difficult to gat any trigger using light pressure. I did notice with NO pressure pads on at all, if I knock the carrage the led flickers. Same results if there is1 or all 3 piezos connected to the boardby Suggy - General
Thanks Simon let me know how you get on. I was thinking along the same lines, (new clamp) maybe putting the piezo on top of the bed support and having something like a bolt in between the hbp and the piezo. Only problem I haven't figured out yet is how to make it adjustableby Suggy - General
Ok having trouble setting up the bed system. I have set the endstop to false and tried the polarity of the piezo both ways and I get the same trigger ether way it is. I have screwed the buffer until it just touches the piezo and then 1/4 turn more (without and bed adjustment nuts on) it needs an hard knock to make the led flash. When I screw the bed nuts down to adjust the be bed to something likby Suggy - General
Thanks guys will give it a go tomorrow. It's in bits again to mount the case I made, been out this evening and not had time to put it back together yetby Suggy - General
Just how sensitive is the under bed setup? I noticed if I touch the bed support that the piezo's are stuck to the LED lights up. There is kapton tape in between the bed support and the piezo so it should be isolated.by Suggy - General
Mount uploaded to thingiverse. Simple but worksby Suggy - General
QuoteMoriquendi QuoteSuggy Another question if you don't mind about fitting an LED. On the latest version there are 2 pins labeled LED, how do I connect an LED and what type would be needed. Board will be mounted under the bed so it would be handy if I could fit an LED to the front so I can keep an eye on it. The LED output is for exactly this scenario. Connect any LED between the two pins, anodby Suggy - General
QuoteDjDemonD If you're asking is PCB version 1.22 is safe to use then the answer is yes. Sorry my bad yes was asking about v1.22by Suggy - General
Got to ask, if v1.2 safe to use?by Suggy - General
Ok thanks, I hang around whist my mount is printing. Mount it to house the pcb under the bed, hopefully it will slot in if iv got my dimensions rightby Suggy - General
