Hi repetier,
I've got exactly the same error message on XP + Repetier host 0.85b.
My speed was quite "standard" :
- default speed on slic3r
- 100% on the host multiplier
It does not crash systematicaly...
I've the feeling it crashes more often when making fast infill moves (honneycumb pattern for example) with high speed...
If I can help to debug, just tell me.
Bye

/** Extreme values to detect defect thermistors. */

Hi All,
I am progressing on my delta building (aerostock !). Everything is working fine for what regards the effector movments.
Now I was trying to beta test the homebuilt extruder.
With repetier host and repetier firmware, I cannot succeed to move the extruder stepper motor.
It is not a problem of hardware, as I suceed to move it with a simple test sketch.
Important to know, I do not have con

I fixed my problem.
There were 2 root causes:
1- plugging new motors ==> It was needed to retrim the reprap.me A4982 drivers. Once having done that, it was remaining a very slow Z motor compared to the others ...
2- on repetier host, there is a "maximum Z speed" parameter in the printer configuration menu that I did not notice (shame on me) and the default value is much lower in Z than the 4

Good news. I've contacted Peter Bogely from reprap.me he gave me the advice to limit the current in oder to get a smooth movement of the motor. (trimming the pot does the job)
I've just tested this and it is now working very smoothly from low speed up to very fast speed.
So my feedback on those 4982 stepper drivers is quite positive.

@Peter,
I'm afraid I get the same problem with my reprap.me's drivers I just bought from them.
I was suspecting the firmware but it is definetly not the case.
i tried Traumflug's way to make the motors turn "by hand" (in fact I did it "by software" having wirtten a dedicated quick and dirty sketch to generate a set of pulses on step pins.
The result is a not yet working motor.
The fact is it s

I forgot to say that the motor drivers are the reprap.me A4982 ones. And i'm afraid this was not the best choice I did see:

Hi all,
i'm new to this forum and to the reprap world... my intention is to build a delta "rostock like".
concerning the electronic part, I've just built and successfully tested a GEN7 1.5 board from Traumflug (nice board !).
It is working fine, compilation is OK, bootloading too. Hardware testing with a test firmware is OK too.
i've installed repetier host (latest version) and compiled and upl
