Hi all, For the last two weeks or so, I've been really, really pleased with the XL and my E3D. It's worked well and I've had no problems with either PLA or ABS until just recently. It seems that after I get, oh maybe an hour or so into a print, the XL starts to jam. What I'm seeing is that the filament is getting kinked up inside the XL. Sometimes if I'm near, I'll hear the "click" noise it makby CmdrKeen - Printing
The issue isn't with the controller, but rather that Repeiter Host isn't communicating properly with the controller. It smells like a speed or other serial setting mismatch between the card and RHost's settings. Did you check to make sure your port speed settings are good, and that it's using the right transfer protocol (Autodetect, ASCII, or Repeiter)? Why pin 9? I don't have that specified anywhere in my configuration settings at all. The way the code *should* be working (unless I'm misreading it) Step #1. Read "configuration.h" #define NUM_EXTRUDER 1 #define MOTHERBOARD 34 #include "pins.h" 2. STOP processing Configuration.h, go read pins.h: <... snip! ...> /***********************************************************************by CmdrKeen - Repetier
Anyone get the fan control to work on the Azteeg X3? Extruder cooler works fine, but filament doesn't... at least, not for me. I've had this problem since I got the board up and running actually (091r0).. and I just pushed 091r6 today to see if that'd fix it (it didn't). Anyone else have this issue? I had this problem once before and I fixed it, but it was awhile back (v091r0?) and I don't remeby CmdrKeen - Repetier
Yep, you read that right. Static. Seems that when my printer is connected up to my PC, and the external power supply, any time I go near the thing I get a USB disconnect from the PC due to static. Actually, if it's been printing for awhile, and I touch any part of the printer, I get a nice little "zap!" and the thing disconnects.. heck it doesn't even need to be printing.
