Hi I'm looking for some help setting up dual extrusion. I've have used this board (Ver 1.3) for some time without issues, however I'm struggling to get two extruders working. When I attempt to turn the heater on for any individual extruder, it turns both heaters on (both LED's come on at the same time and both hotends heat up). When I try to extrude from the second extruder (T1) it only extrudesby bananas - Controllers
Unfortunately turning the bed heater off made no difference.by bananas - Printing
Thanks for the suggestions. The belts are tight and I don't see any slack in the X/Y movement. I'll try printing with the bed off and see what happens. I have attached some photos of the z axis. It does over extrude, I've had to wind down the extrusion multiplier to stop my prints bulging. It now extrudes 85mm when I set it to extrude100mm of filament.by bananas - Printing
I can't seem to get to the bottom of my printing issues. I'm confident I've adjusted all the mechanical parts and have made sure everything is tight and sliding well. The steppers are running at the lowest possible current and have slowed the printing speed way down. I have a Prusa i3 Geared extruder with an E3DV6 Using lead-screws The model was printed in Polymax PLA at 200 deg, 0.1 layer heigby bananas - Printing
Thank you! Now error free and auto levelling correctly.by bananas - Firmware - Marlin
I have fixed most of the errors except this one: sketch/Marlin_main.cpp: In function 'void set_bed_level_equation_lsq(double*)': sketch/Marlin_main.cpp:998:36: warning: deprecated conversion from string constant to 'char*' [-Wwrite-strings] planeNormal.debug("planeNormal"); This error appears as soon as I enable auto bed levelling (no other changes made) I'm using 1.0.2 Marlin release, hby bananas - Firmware - Marlin
Enabling auto bed levelling causes most of these errors with the Geeetech code and the official Marlin code. It compiles relatively error free until I enable "#define DISABLE_MAX_ENDSTOPS". I need to enable this so auto bed levelling will work. Thanksby bananas - Firmware - Marlin
I tried with the official release, same errors.by bananas - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks, Using a custom board (http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/GT2560) which is a combination of Arduino Mega2560+Ultimaker and Arduino Mega2560+ramps 1.4. The pins.h errors only occur when I enable "#define DISABLE_MAX_ENDSTOPS" #ifndef CONFIGURATION_H #define CONFIGURATION_H #include "boards.h" // This configuration file contains the basic settings. // Advanced settings can be foby bananas - Firmware - Marlin
I would love to get some help solving my compiling errors listed below: Geeetech Prusa i3 GT2560 board Most of these errors were out of the box.
