Using Marlin 2.0, MKS Gen V1.4 and a simple microswitch. Wired it up to servo pin 4 (ground and signal pins) and designated pin 4 in the firmware. Using the Marlin configurator. Everything checks good before starting a print (no filament just heating up the extruder). At about c160 the runout switch stops working. The printer keeps printing. I have a short piece of filament that I use for testingby Adroid - Firmware - Marlin
I have a 12864 controller. I changed the extruder fan to be temperature controlled. When I did that the fan icon and %speed got removed from the screen. That's no problem because the fan comes on at the proper temp. What I would like is to have the part cooling fan show on the info screen because it is manually controlled and I forget to turn it on. If it showed on the info. screen it would reminby Adroid - Firmware - Marlin
I had been using Repetier firmware on my MKS Gen V1.4. I switched to Marlin because I is supposed to better support the tft35 controller. I have 2 questions. 1. Is there a way to put the status of the 2nd fan on the info. screen of a RepRapdiscount full graphics controller? That brings me to question2. I don't know what happened to the cable for the tft35 and I am having no luck trying to figureby Adroid - Firmware - Marlin
I received the same error. I had chosen tmc2208 and received The same error. It got me thinking, Try the tmc2208 standalone (or something like that) and it WORKED. No more connection errors. I guess that if they don't have some extra connection they are considered stand alone.by Adroid - Controllers
I know I will get flamed for this but I have to ask. Is there another firmware that will run on a Duet WiFi? Reason I ask is that I tried all kinds of combinations with bad results. At present I am using Repetier on a MKS. Tried Marlin on the MKS but it didn't pan out. It's probably just me but I find Repetier easier to work with. Like I said, I have had no luck trying to configure the Duet WiFiby Adroid - Duet
I recently purchased a duet 2 wifi board to replace the Melzi board because I fried the thermistor. My problem, I just can't seem to get this thing configured properly. Motors are all sl42sth34-1504a drivers are the ones that came with the duet wifi and the rest is what came with the tronxy x1. It is a cartesian printer with a gantry and bowden extruder. I tried different current values differentby Adroid - Duet
Just upped the ref. voltage and it worked!! Upped it from .63 to .73 and it moved up with no problem but to be safe I am leaving it at .76. Thanks!by Adroid - Controllers
Didn't think of that because the x and y axis are working fine. I will try raising and or lowering the ref. voltage.by Adroid - Controllers
Answering Roberts_Clif questions. My stepper motors are all sl42sth34-1504a, Lead-screw is 8mm (4 starts?), ref. voltage for zaxis is .63 with just 1 stepper. I managed to replace the damaged chip on the Melzi board and all motors move the way they should. I really like the MKS board and I would like to use it instead. I think it is very wierd that the z axis will only move down. Reversing directby Adroid - Controllers
Hi all, I received an MKS Gen v1.4 replacement for my Tronxy x1. Flashed it with Repetier and using RepRapdiscount full graphics display. Only problem I am having is that the Z axis only wants to go down not up. Wit power off I raise the Z axis and then power the board on and try the homing and all is good. Then I move the X and Y axis in both directions (no problem). However the Zaxis only clickby Adroid - Controllers
