Can someone help. Thru this process, I have realized I am not a DIY person, and getting this printer up and running is a difficult, to say the least, task. I was trying to compile and upload the code to the adroine board, and it stopped and gave me an error. Please help! Here is the error. I found a stepper driver was causing a short. SO I removed that stepper driver. I just plugged in the board into the computer. The board is located as com5. In the arduino software, the board is seen as com5. When I try and update the firmware, the message reads, not communicating to the main board. If I replace the shorting stepper driver, with a new. Will the firmware update and proceed toby Steven Rude - Reprappers
Good Morning, Yes 1+ and 4- go to 3 and 4 on the board. I took the wires off the blue terminal, going to the heating bed. Then attached 1+ and 4-, and still no LED on. The short lies in the boards? The blue terminal on the plus side was damage a bit when first attaching the wire. HHUUMM. Picture showing the wires attached to the bed from the blue terminal. Can the bed be directly connecby Steven Rude - General
In Summary, Heating extruders are hot. Heating plate is not getting hot. With power supply hooked up to post 2+ and 5-. When I hook up 1+ and 4-. The LED on the power supply is not on. TaDA Any advice?by Steven Rude - General
Just when I thought this was the problem. The 2 wires from the heating plate, going into the blue terminal. I re hooked them up, one side of the terminal plastic is crushed, a bit. However, I think the connections are good. But when I connect 1 red and 4 black post to the power supply. The LED on the power supply is still not lighting up.by Steven Rude - General
I have now, hooked up post 3 and 6 with the sensor and fan leeds. The Led light for the power supply is still going on. Then I re connected the red on post 1 and black on post 4. No Led on the power supply. The problem, maybe the connections that power 1 and 4 post drive. What next? To Checkby Steven Rude - General

ThanX would the power supply not have the fan on or an led light, when plugged in?by Steven Rude - General
Thank you for your response. Here is a photo of the power supply. No documentation, not sure the type. It is a dual extruder kit, not an upgrade. I have just assembled the unit, it is the first time getting things started. I am not sure which controller board, but I have attached a photo. I pushed the little reset button on the side of the controller card, with no results. ThanX again for yby Steven Rude - General
I finally have the dual extruder assembled, and ready to go, I think. I plugged it in to the 110 outlet, with switch set to 110. Plugged the usb into the computer, Nothing has booted, Nothing on the power supply, and nothing has popped up under devices in window 8.1 Any advice? Regards Stevenby Steven Rude - General
