Foarte bun topicul.
Am vazut ca Obama vrea sa sponsorizeze treaba asta cu imprimantele in State.

This kit contains everything you need to build the cheapest printer on the market.
I prefer to deliver it personally, but I can too ship it inGermany if one wants it.
The reason I am selling it is because I don't have time to play with it anymore, I was expecting this for
winter holiday but it arrived after so now I have no time to take care of it.
If I don't find somenone in one week I will store

Felicitari pentru imprimanta.
Sa inteleg ca ai electronica care duce 3 extrudere in acelasi timp? Adica poti sa printezi in 3 culori diferite ? Sau care e smecheria ?

Sadly it will not stick to bed at all.
I don't have a heated bed, I tried with kapton tape but it doesn't stick at all.
The only way I could make something stick was to melt some PLA with the solder station and spread it on the kapton to form an 1 mm bed of PLA. Then it would kind of stick but the extruded filament is not straight it still curls around so what I got was an ugly blob instead of

Hello there.
I made a very simple hotend taking inspiration both from Watson and Direct hotend.
It is made only from 3 pieces, 1 piece of PTFE with 25% glass content, aluminum heater block and aluminium nozzle.
External isolated with ceramic tape.
It doesn't jam at all, melting length is really only tip but I cannot get the PLA to flow straight down, it just curls around the tip of the ho

Very interesting topic about TB6560.
Do you think this chip is now obsolete for RepRap?

Hi.
Very nice TB board.
I'm using same drivers for my Printrboard and Gen 7 TM.
Wondering how critical the caps on 12 V and 5 V line are for TB and how sensible TB is to noises.
I have some crazy noises on my steppers and thought maybe you can help me.
I will post some photos and some more if you are interested.

Well I made the module for the Z axis, connected the 2 motors in parallel and everything worked so far.
So I decided that I should connect all axes and extruder and make some tests.
Well when I connected all the modules it seems that somewhere I have some noises that make the steppers from z all crazy...
Also when the steppers go crazy and vibrate like crazy, also pronterface is having problems

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Hello and thank you for the idea.
I would talk with the author of the board from maket-city and if he agrees I will make some wiki page.
Can you make a suggestion when can I start this page like what branch of the electronics tree?

It worked the problem was on driver circuit.
More details in the other topic that I started.

Just got 2 circuits to work again it seems that they are really sensible.
Last night made to work and the second TB6560, looks like hot spots and verification procedures should be like this:
1. circuit is powered at 12 V
2. check inputs 12 V, 5 V, GND to be ok
3.verify that the capacitor from OSC which is 330 pF 470 pF to have a voltage around 1.4 V (for 470 pF) but still different from 0, this

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Finally I got an old driver working with the the controller board, it seems that these boards are very sensible to build.
Also after some measuring I got also one of my boards to work, the oscillator capacitive was not working.
But I have some strange noise in the stepper and it seems that communication with the pcb is disturbed because I get some start messages in printer face when I use my bo

Thanks for the reply.
Of course I am communicating with the developer of the GEN7TM.
I finally moved the axis yesterday night, there is something in the driver circuit that I have to debug.
After I will make it work properly, maybe together with the actual developer of the board we will make a branch,
and post some information on the wiki...after I read how I should do this.

Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
Hi.
I don't have a board that I bought from internet, I made 4 boards, each with 1 TB6560, STEP, EN, DIR +5 +12V inputs from controller board and outputs to the steppers.
So no optocouplers.
Yesterday I wired an older board with TB6560 to the controller and it works!!!
At least the stepper are moving, didn't measure the precision yet although.
So there is something wrong in the schematic from mak

Worked with an old driver.
Now I have to figure out which is the difference between old driver and new one.
Basically they are the same.
Very strange.

Firmware - mainstream and related support
I made and attached the endstops to the board, hoping that maybe the firmware has some protection and doesn't run if it sees that endstops are not connected.
Now it seems that the DIR and STEP leds are lighting but still no stepper movement.
The stepper or make a buzzing sound, I even say some little steps but totally random.
Maybe the setting that I run are too fast for my stepper and they cann

Hello everyone.
Could you point me to a firmware or modifications to be done in order to
make the gen7tm from maket city work?
I have enable on the drivers but step znd dir are not reacting to commands in pronterface.

Hello.
I am having similar problems with TB6560 drivers, I am using Teacup firmware, I modified only INVERT_STEPPER_ENABLE according to the drivers, now the EN is correct, but when I command from pronterface movement to the axes nothing happens.
Could you help me to the same configs that you did in order to make the TB6560 work?
It seems that STEP and DIR inputs to the drivers never change, I con

Firmware - mainstream and related support
Hello.
I am building a Printrbot LC and I am using the GEN 7 TM board with ATMEGA 644 P and TB6560 drivers.
The project is presented here:
I connected only one driver to the x axis for test, nothing else, no endstops, no thermistors.
Is there any condition in software that doesn't allow to move an axis unless u have temperature input or things like that?
I used the Teacup Lumen v1.4 firmware
