Thanks edn. I'd given up. The Rambo pin is PWM pin 5 Pins i & 2 are vcc & Gnd I'm now unsure how to wire up the microswitch that I've mounted on the servo. I've currently got the hall effect magnetic switch. Should I try putting it in series with the existing switch, or replace the hall effect switch with another mechanical switch?by gwandad - General Mendel Topics
G'day Alex, Great work, Mate! I have built 2 Mendelmax machines, a 1.5+ & a 2.0. Both built with Rambo Cards. I would like to fit them both with this remarkable feature, but have no idea where to attach the hardware to these cards, Can you assist, Please?by gwandad - General Mendel Topics
G'day, Anybody got any idea about getting the servo hooked up to Rambo electronics?by gwandad - General Mendel Topics
G'day, I can most likely help you out. I'm in Wantirna South, where are you? Give me a phone number & we'll take it from there. Regards, Georgeby gwandad - Australia, Melbourne RUG
I realise I'm 8 months late for this discussion, but I have to put my 2 bit's worth into this highly learned discussion. Now a word of advice... Nobody should buy, or try to use any product with the name Acme associated with it! End of story. Wylie Coyote always gets Acme products & I'm here to tell you that a bit of Z end wobble is the least of your problems. Every use by our friend Wylie, oby gwandad - Reprappers
I'm very interested in trying threaded rods for both X and Y. I'm currently using acme rods and POM nuts for the Z axis and am very happy with that. I'd be very interested in finding out the motor and nut combinations you are using. I've been looking at the motors with a rods attached i.e. I 7 motor with a 350 mm rod as a unitby gwandad - Mechanics
My new to this so I hope that this is in the right place. I've built a Mendelmax and have been delighted with its performance however the thermistor in the hot end failed and I am having a lot of trouble trying to locate a supplier in Australia. I can find plenty of 100 K thermistors but unfortunately none the right size. According to the rep rap write up it is Thermistor 5 Part Number: 104GT-2 Mby gwandad - Australia, Melbourne RUG
