Gave/loaned my MendelMax 1.5 to a friend when I was moving a few years ago. He hasn't done anything with it for about 2 years and decided he needed it out of the way, so he brought it back. I'm learning Fusion 360, so it actually is good timing. I always just printed stuff from Thingiverse before - now I can design my own stuff to print. So, it looks to be in decent shape. Got it working! Thanks all! I ended up going back to fresh download of latest Marlin, changing motherboard type to 33, and uncommenting #define G3D_PANEL. Almost ready to start calibration. Thanks, Wallyby wallyblackburn - RAMPS Electronics
I really appreciate your reply. I will verify the pin 1 connections. The cables are keyed to only go one way, but I'll verify. Many lines that need tweaking? Oh boy! I had read on another forum that motherboard type was 33. There is a lot of varying info out there. Rather than ask for details on which lines, would it be inappropriate to ask if I could get copies of your configuration.h and pinsby wallyblackburn - RAMPS Electronics
Hi folks, super-newbie here. I am building a MendelMax 1.5 using Gadgets3d RAMPS kit with their LCD and Shield. First, let me say that I don't have any of the electronics even connected yet, so maybe I shouldn't expect the following to work - please tell me if that is the case. Anyway... I downloaded the latest Marlin, uncommented #define G3D_PANEL in configuration.h, verified, and downloaded tby wallyblackburn - RAMPS Electronics

I am doing my first build and I am currently in the parts gathering stage. I have a bit of 1/2"-10RH ACME leadscrew and taps to make followers out of delrin, brass, etc. These are from previous work I've done rehabbing machine tools - lathes specifically. Anyway, anybody see a reason I couldn't use these on the Z-axis of my MendelMax 1.5? Thanks, Wallyby wallyblackburn - General
