Yes unless you have access to the CAD drawing then you will have to do it at the slicing level. Skeinforge does it quite well

so this is a hollow cube? Will anyone ever be able to see the inside?
Bridging can do it depending on the size and if you can't see in then some droopy inner layers won't matter

So far the only colour that gave me trouble was a roll of dark green, every other colour has been fine. I haven't tried another roll of that green since so don't know if it was a one off. I only buy from the source you are using and have used 600m of red 300m purple, 300m dark blue that I know of so far with no problems.
So it could be a simple bad roll

Some PSU's have a thermal cutout which kicks in whenit becomes a bit overloaded, I had this with some cheap 350W ones I had lying around so bought this 400W one here and these work as they don't have the internal cutout controller

I use SF41 the old version and it's times are out qiute a bit so I build in an error calculation of 15% and then it's about right for time. I just do this with a calculator afterwards

Sorry Reece, I met you last time in Nelson but I'm in the middle of moving to Christchurch as there is no work here in Nelson. Trying to change career in the middle of a recession is hard enough even harder when your about to turn 45, I have work lined in in Christchurch so the move is imminent

I was running perfectly off an old desktop with XP, that died and because of the form factor I couldn't get spares to fit. Switched to a netbook running Win 7 and have all sorts of problems that it seems might be cauesed by the charger, so in the middle of switching to SD card printing. Also in the middle of moving house/town so no real spare time to play with my RepRap at the moment

Nope I swap them at the end of a print as they need to cool before the prints will lift off

I have been using the same 2 pieces of 3mm picture glass for over a year and printed at least 50 sets of Prusa parts on them

I make my alu beds 225 square but the nozzle can't get right to the edges so you would be ok with 200x200 and just hold it on with buldog clips. I use 3mm picture frame glass only because I had some hanging around

I clean my glass with methylated spirit but I do it when the glass is hot, get no residue and PLA just sticks

You might need to turn up the pots on the driver chips fractionally

Probably more likely ABS would be better than PLA as PLA needs much less heat to get soft. At those speeds I would expect heating of the gears to take place potentially causing them to fail or warp

sounds like a dodgy driver chip

I think you can run pretty much the same electronics on all types. I have an original Mendel running Gen6 and I'm about to convert it to Sanguino so that I can print from SD card. Sanguino works very well on Prusa too

A prusa is nice and simple and what most people are now building so there should be lots of parts around for them
