For v6. The heatsink is universal. For Bowden or direct. U have to insert the ptfe tube into the heatsink until it reach the stainless steel heat break. And use the black colour collet to lock the tube in place. Then u will have a 2mm ID. please refer to the e3d site for instruction.by Emadine - Reprappers
basically what y did is correct. and the board should work, u r saying there is a constant 12V on the heater, meaning the heater is activated or what, the heater is has a 12v supply and control by open or close ciruilt on the ground side. if your problem is heating up whether u switch it on or not then u have to recheck your soldering and the board againby Emadine - Sanguino(lolu)
the mosfet parts where u soldier is gound Not 12volts. the heater 12V is direct from the powers supply the mosfet control the ground. back of board pin 1 signal pin2 direct to connector to heater pin3 board direct ground when signal is send to pin 1, pin2 and pin3 is connectedby Emadine - Sanguino(lolu)

Hi Eric. Thank for ur reply. I also currently mount the fan facing front. The only diff is I used a hotend.com alu mount and mount it under the carriage so I have enough distance for the fan. But then I lost some print height. Still looking for a better x carriage. Regards Thomasby Emadine - General
Hi guy. I just receive my e3d hotend yesterday. But I can't install it in because my simonkuehling reinforced x carriage don't have enough space for the fan. Can someone please recommend me a x-carriages that can fix this hotend. Thanks Thomasby Emadine - General

Check ur z is it binding can it slide smoothly. Sometime when the x smooth rod is not tighten at the x end and when u tighten the x belt it will apply a lot of load on the z rod causing it to bind. The z nut is onlyby Emadine - Singapore RUG
