are you %100 sure this will be the solution? I'm willing to spend the money, but just gotta be sure before dropping 100USD on this part, I've been dying to get this printer running

Quotedc42 Low cost DC-DC SSRs have between 1.5V and 2V drop. Heater power varies as the square of heater voltage. So the voltage drop explains the reduction in temperature. You will also find that the SSR generates a lot of heat. My solution is to use an AC mains voltage heated bed driven by a DC-AC SSR. Follow the link in my signature for more. Hello everyone, I'm having difficulty getting my bed temp to exceed 58 degrees since I've hooked up my SSR. It's a SSR60DD that I hooked up since this is a huge 6' tall printer that will be printing for 8 hours plus and wanted the precaution of not frying my electronics. I believe it's a signal problem with my Ramps board, is there a way to move the heatbed from D8 to D9 on the power block? I'd like to do that to test the signal.

Hello everyone, Currently building my second kossel style printer. Everything is running properly except the heatbed. The setup is run through a SSR However, even with the heatbed connected directly or disconnected just to test the signal there is nothing. I know when the heatbed is activated a light is suppose to turn on on the RAMPS 1.4 board, but it does not. The lights for the hot end work

Hello everyone, I've had this issue for a little while now on my first layer prints. Basically when it starts the skirt/brim it would take about half a loop or so before the filament sticks to the heatbed and would actually glob up the side of the extruder nozzle for a bit until it does.
