I would be worried about the first link. No reviews on that seller, I only see that the seller has sold 3 items in whole store. (I would go with someone who has reviews, even though that one looks the best)by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
I read some where you need stepper torque of at least 4600 g/cm, I was looking at the datasheet and noticed that I have 4587 g/cm (45Ncm or 63.7oz.in) is this to low, should I return them? ( The motor )by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Alright thanks. I will print Pointy part. Did you buy Low Profile Screws M5 30mm, and any spacers (if so what size)by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Do I need ~6meters of GT2 belt? (I have 5 meters but I can always order more)by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
I read your post a while ago about the 32 bit however, I got a super cheap electronics kit (Ramp 1.4, Processors, ect) $24 bundle from China (However it is 8 bit Arduino Mega). Does having that 32 bit really effect performance and make life easier? I was thinking about buying 32 bit board, but the price is a little high.by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Thank you for the design! I ordered all the parts A couple questions. Any cons (not including cost) of going bigger vs your normal cherry pi III? a. Does the resolution go down any? I. Do I need to print with a bigger head What is the fail rate of a print? a. Is there a way to setup sensor to detect a jam? b. What was the build time of that 3d printed guitar, and did it finishby mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Thank you looks like I will be building a 4XL cherry pi =) Any advice before I start buying parts, and 3d printing parts? Also any thoughts on dual extruder for cherry pi 4XL?by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Looks good I will probably go with the cherry pi. For the cherry pi 4XL, do you know where the post is or any links to design specs? Thanks.by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Ok, after looking at many designs and getting suggestions from users, I finally leaning toward building a delta 3D printer; however, I cant pick what design I want to go with? Any ideas? Something that has some of the new technology. (Maybe, auto leveling/ calibration, dual head, smart extruder) Normal size or large build area. Price as cheap as I can make it but $300-$1000 I don't want a kit.by mikes3ds - Delta Machines
Very cool.My fablab has a mill and cnc; however, I have not been trained to use those machines. I would have to get some one else to cut those parts. I feel better going off a design for my first 3d printer. Really cool 3D printer, you can tell by how something looks if it is a engineered well, and yours looks good!!!!by mikes3ds - General
Thank you I have taken a look at the Rostock Several variations (linear delta robot 3D printer). What design of the delta type do you think is the best, take in mind I do not want a kit? (I looked at both the cherry-pi and the Kossel XL)by mikes3ds - General
There are so many designs out there for 3D printers on reprap I need help picking: My experience: I am a Computer Engineer Built tons of robots, and other things; but first try to build 3d printer (love to tinker) I have access to a: 3D printer, laser cutter, wood working equipment and more What I am looking for: Solid design. Rigid frame. Normal size or large build area. Price as cheapby mikes3ds - General

Hello all, I have been looking around for what is the best Prusa i3 Derivate. (I have access to a laser cutter and a 3D printer.) Or should I go with the original prusa i3. So many options, I really need help figuring out what one is the best that I can use a laser cutter to make the frame. Thanks (Edit laser cutter)by mikes3ds - Reprappers
