So, I'm working on a Prusa 2 which I've been having just a horrible time with. The current issue, which I've run out of things to check on, is the y axis binding. When I'm printing, in the middle of the print, the y axis will make a sound like angry bees, sometimes just one click, sometimes a bunch. This happens only when it's moving in one direction, and it seems to vary on when it does it, hby Beez - Printing
I'm working on making a copy of Repsnapper that inputs another filetype of 3d models, but I've hit a wall of sorts. I've got everything changed in the code, correctly as far as I can tell, but I can't get it to finish compiling. I run ./autogen.sh, and that runs fine, but when I run make, it tells me that it has a bunch of undefined references, which I assume means it can't find the libraries fby Beez - RepSnapper
How are the Nophead couplings supposed to work? It doesn't seem like they're able to stay on the motor, and there's nothing to keep them from staying in place as the motor spins. Are they even useful, or should I be going out and getting aluminum couplings instead?by Beez - General Mendel Topics
So, I've heard that you don't need an MDF board for the Prusa 2, and somebody mentioned somewhere about it being a possible lung hazard, but all of the assembly instructions everywhere talk about having the board under the heatbed. Is it actually necessary, and if not, how do I put it together without it?by Beez - General Mendel Topics
Sorry, forgot to post this. I found one a couple days ago. Thanks anyway!by Beez - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
Hey, I need a full set of printed parts for the Prusa i2 to fit LME8UU bearings. Everywhere I've looked seems to fit the LM8UU ones instead. Can anyone give me a quote for this? Thanks!by Beez - Job Shop: I need stuff made!
