Discussioni generali - NO PROBLEMI DELLA STAMPANTE
Hi Hans,
yr problem is not common, I built my I3 one years ago, and i've replaced only one piece (x carriage - motor side).
which kind of damage you have?
I'm not in agreement with metal parts (the only one that is installed on my printer is the e3d extruder), our printer are not so perfect, a lot of tollerance and small error that can be tune with flexibility of plastic.
That's only my opinion

Thanks for Reply Sublime,
Enclosed my actual config in Cura, I didn't try with older version because i'm lazy...
the F command in Gcode is always the same, I think there should be a setting to slow down the print with thin layer

Hi guys,
I've a strange problem with the newest version of cura, I cannot increase or decrease the print speed when i try to print a vase.
I tried to change:
- Print speed (of course)
- Outer shell speed
- Disable fan cooling
- Disable minimal layer time
To print a very small vase (3cmx3cm) it takes abt 32 minutes and of course too much heat to obtain a quality print.
can you help me?
Many

Hi Guys,
After a lot of job I've obtained an almost good printing quality (enclose some pics).
I'm printing with e3d hot end and 0,25mm noozzle at 0,1 mm layer height with an i3 single frame printer.
can you give me some suggestion to improve the quality?
Thanks!!!

Printing
Hi Bob,
1st of all I've changed a parameter in slic3r:
reduce the Solid infill threshold area on infill form: I put 1 mm2 / default is 70 mm2 so all the pieces under that value will be filled and my printer cannot fill more than 4/5 layers in a row.
2. reduced a little bit the temperature (215)
3. and reduced the layer height to 2 mm for raw thing and 0,8 for finest…
let me know the result.

Printing
Hello,
I've some problem printing the test cube 10x10, the perimeters is ok, but the infill is ugly.
My configuration is prusa i3 Hot end E3d (Metal) nozzle 0,5 + marlin + slic3r + pronterface and ABS.
i've tried all kind of configuration (extruder multiplier/ e step calibration etc) but without any result, the final dimension of the print are ok but the top layer is higher than print !!!
