Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Marlin version that's on gitHub for the R360. I'm helping some friends with a polar printer they built and I can't get this to work, but before I go through further troubleshooting, I'd like to know if the firmware actually works as is or it requires major modifications. So far I can't get it to move, and it might be relatedby Egar - Printing

Sorry to bother, does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks!by Egar - Printing
Hello everyone! I recently installed a second extruder on my Prusa i3 with Ramps 1.4 on Marlin. So far I've had several headhaches with the thing, so I've decided to come here and ask for help. 1st problem: When I try to extrude from the second extruder, the X axis moves as well. For some reason, most of the time when I try to make E1 move, it makes the x-axis move as well. Could this be electrby Egar - Printing
Fixed. I'm embarrased to admit it was a freaking wire that was causing the problem. What threw me off track was the repetition: always failure during the second test point of G29, it had to be magic! It was that at that position the cable would lose its connection. Thanks for the help and sorry to have bothered with this!by Egar - Reprappers
Sorry to insist, if anyone has any ideas It'd be greatly appreciated!by Egar - Reprappers
I'm not sure if I understood this correctly, but, if after G29 the nozzle is at a distance from the bed, then that distance should be 4.2mm (the offset), which would mean it's correct. Have you tried printing to see if the nozzle moves to the right height? If you haven't done so already, remember to add the G28 before the G29 on your part's gcode, and do it before each print (I added it to the cby Egar - Reprappers
Hi guys, I assembled my second Prusa i3 last week for my brother, and ran into a weird problem with the auto bed level servo. The thing didn't respond well, but only sometimes, and now it has stopped responding completely. The problem: - M280 worked. - G28 extend worked, but sometimes it wouldn't retract. - G29 extend/retract worked only on the first test point. For the second, every single tiby Egar - Reprappers
Hi there, Is there a way to tell Marlin not to retract the Z-Probe between each measurement during G29? Thanks!by Egar - Reprappers
Ok, after disconnecting and reconnecting everything, trying motors and drivers independently, I got it working again thanks to your help guys, thank you very much! I adjusted both the acceleration and the feed rate. The feed rate is what did the trick. I reduced it from 5 to 2.5 and now the motors move again -apparently- correctly. So, it works, but I still don't know why it worked before. Doesby Egar - Reprappers
Hi guys, Thanks for the answers. I'm going to try changing both settings, but I think there's something else broken because I re-uploaded the old version of Marlin to the arduino and the problem persists. I think the driver is busted, or a wire got cut. It's weird though, if I leave one motor connected, it moves ok, but when I attach the second one they both do the thing I described initally.by Egar - Reprappers
Hi guys, I updated the Marlin version on my Prusa i3 because the version I was using didn't have support for autolevel bed, and since I installed it already I'm really really looking forward to try it out The problem is that, even after editing Configuration.h to look like my old version except for the new features, my Z axis is not behaving properly. If I try to move it up by 10mm, it moves sby Egar - Reprappers
Hello everyone, Since my last (first) post, where I wrote about my experience building a Prusa i3, I've been tweaking and testing a lot more, and I've been printing a lot of things. Everything works fine when I print little trinkets, but when I try to print more complex objects, many things start to fail. Among other things, lately I've been trying to print the parts for the i3 Rework. I went fby Egar - Reprappers
