I've also killed several pololus on my Z axis. In my case it was a "cold solder" point on one of the noice canceling capacitors.Every other axis worked just fine and also the Z did it's job for lets say half an hour so I didn't expect my soldering. You might also have a second look on it.by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Be careful playing around with different clock fuses. Lately i've "locked me out" of an ATmega8 by accidently setting it to "external oscillator" rather than "crystal/resanator". As a result of it my programmer couldn't read or write anymore to the chip.To "repair" the chip I had to connect an other external clock source on the XTAL1 of my ATmega. There's a nice howto about this at : ... unforby scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group

As far as I can see Erik has hardcoded the values for 20MHz into the speedlookuptable.h. If you've set the F_CPU value in your IDE correctly the right table should be chosen. I've done it this way and my moving speed seems to be correct! To thby scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Thanks Traumflug! But the that was not my idea... it like this was taken from "Alfons3"s design. Actually there is a little space conflict with the snapper of the ATX connector. In my case i've just cut it off. Great to see that the thermistor pins have moved one to the left. My aproach of breaking out the upper left AI0 a/d pin is nothing but a temporary solution.by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
The attached board is one of my first sd card-only extension boards. At the moment I'm using a similar design having the sd card board mounted next to the lcd display (connected through multicore cable to the GEN7). I've got the ATMEGA at a local store for €2,50.. ordering the ATMEGA328 would be about €5-7 incl. shipping for me. I know that Alfons doesn't use the last a/d pin. So I've changed hiby scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Also with 0,16mm traces it took several attampts to get a useable resolt. By the way it was my first double layer etching so some faults were just homebrewn You mean the ATMEGA on the serial backpack right?! It's mentioned to use an ATMega328 but i think thats way overpowerd. I'm going to use an ATMega8 which is pin compatible with the ATMega328 but has only 8kb flash and the price is about 50%by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
It should be capable for 16x2, 16x4, 20x4 and 20x2 displays. For interfacing the serial LCD backpack there is a nice arduino library called "serlcd" . The library subclasses SoftwareSerial.h which is not dependant on a hardware serial pin. You can simply use any free digital i/o pin for interacting with the backpack. The SD CARD uses the hardware SPI Pins(MOSI,MISO,SCK) and one Pin for "chip seby scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
For the SD Card you the following pins: - Chip Select (define one on your own) - MOSI (master out slave in from ISP) - MISO (master in slave out from ISP) - CLK (from ISP) For the LCD: -RS Pin - Enable Pin - D4 - D5 - D6 - D7 You have to wire some more pins on your LCD Display correctly (ie: contrast, R/W -> GND) For a rotary encoder: - BTN_EN1 - BTN_EN2 - BTN_EN3 One major thby scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
No! Thats not true anymore Since yesterday Marlin got 20 MHz support! At the moment it can cope 16 or 20 MHz. For this the speedlookuptables are still hardcoded but uses the F_CPU variable from arduino ide to configure the correct one. So you only have to set the correct board in arduino ide. The first tests looked very promissing.Haven't tried to print yet.by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Hi dslc! Glad you found the way how to implement the GEN7 Arduino Support Files. The reason why I've added them was because the WString.h is missing in the original GEn7 support files from Traumflug.by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Today Marlin got a pull request which should resolve the fixed 16MHz issue. Actually you have to recalculate the speed_lookuptable manually via an included perl script. I haven't tried it yet but it would be great if a 20Mhz Gen7 would work without any speed issues afterwards. Thanks in advance to bgamari!by scuba - Next Wave Electronics Working Group
Kann dir also gerne Teile drucken!

I've noticed slic3r seems to produce strings between corners if it's configured to draw only 1 perimeter. Rising the perimeter count to "2" brought a much cleaner result and with it's default of "3" I got a complete clean result! I had the same issue with spaces in my paths. Repetier is allready informed about it. As a workaround just set the ini path between apostrophes.by scuba - Repetier
