I am using a prusa i3 with a heated bed and I run it at about 60 degrees celcius. I am using hatch box pla and I am curious what would be causing warping in some areas of the print, but not others. In the photo, one of the prints experienced a lot more warping than the other. I am using a pcb heater under the glass. Is the heat not distributing evenly? Thanks for any help!by CyBer - Reprappers
Wow, do I feel stupid. Its always the simple things, am I right? I looked more closely at what the motor is doing and I saw that the motor is turning and the gear wasn't. The grub screw was loose. Thanks for the help guys!by CyBer - Printing
Sorry it took so long to respond, I've been busy. Well I have a fan going right next to stepper chip heat sink and they are cool to the touch and the motor still is stopping a few minutes after the print starts. This makes me think that I need a motor with more torque for my extruder. Anyone have thoughts on this?by CyBer - Printing
I don't have problems with overheating on the other drivers, how would I test or fix this if it is the driver overheating?by CyBer - Printing
Hey guys, I recently upgraded from a folgertech mk7 to a E3D and a Greg's accessible extruder. I am reusing the mk7 36oz/in motor with this new setup and it extrudes the filament at first, but after a few minutes through the print the motor stops turning and I can easily spin the gear that is attached to the motor. I was wondering what you guys think the problem is. Is the motor getting too hot?by CyBer - Printing
Thanks for the help guys. I will do that from now on.by CyBer - Printing
Thanks for the help guys. I will do that from now on. I noticed that the acrylic y axis base was pretty crooked so now I am gluing spacers on the bottom of it so it will slide on the metal slide bars for the y axis and hopefully that will help my problem as whenever I try to calibrate it the variances are really high between the corners.by CyBer - Printing
Hey guys, I am currently printing stuff, and I noticed that the Y value only is red when I look at the manual control tab in repetier host. What does this mean?by CyBer - Printing
Yeah, sorry file size limits sorry.by CyBer - Printing
Hey guys, I am having trouble with this issue. I figured that it's a print bed adjustment problem, but I was wondering if you guys know if it's too low or high and if anyone has experience that would help with this issue. Thanks for your time!by CyBer - Printing

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the stl files to this chess set. If I follow the thingiverse link I get a 44 error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!by CyBer - Object repositories
Ok so I figured it out. The wires were inserted into the black plastic piece that holds all the wires in the wrong orientation. I just had to switch it and it started working!by CyBer - Prusa i3 and variants
Ok so thanks for the suggestions guys, but I tried everything you guys have suggested and I disassembled the extruder to see what was going on. The motor is actually jittering back and forth and making no net movement. Do you guys know why the extruder motor would be doing this?by CyBer - Prusa i3 and variants
I tried both orientations of wiring and it is still jittering back and forth.by CyBer - Prusa i3 and variants
The motor seems like it is jittering back and forth and not revolving when I hold the filament. I turned the voltage up to around 1.2, and it still didn't do anything.by CyBer - Prusa i3 and variants
Hey everyone, I am currently assembling a folger tech prusa kit and when I tried to manually extrude 50 cm of plastic to test the extruder, the motor seems to pull the filament in a little and then pull it out a little and it never grabs purchase of the filament or extrudes any. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?by CyBer - Prusa i3 and variants
