So, looks Iike my 3d printer is gonna be arriving tomorrow. it took about two weeks, which is more than the 2-5 business days that replikeo advertised. However, the communication with them regarding the shipping was excellent and they responded to me every time I had a question promptly. Two weeks isnt bad comming from China. I got the dual extruderr model with lcd... I also got an mk3 hotbed..by Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants
Quoteprispin J-Max, I think a lot of us would like to use a proper tool but also have budgets that aren't unlimited. If I read you right, the Replikeo is a lower-end or basic kit with two better features - the extruder and the frame. Is it possible to buy a kit that has ACME threaded shaft Nema17 motors, better cable management, a screen, etc? Or would we be more likely to get a quality product bby Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants
The screen is available for 15usd more.. As far as the rest of the post, most of us here would benefit from you elaborating more (this will be my first build). I saw a mod on YouTube to fix the y axis problem... I mean, I think with almost any kit il your going to have to buy it, then make upgrades as you go.... at least that is the impression I got from reading around.by Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants
I am getting a replikeo in a steel frame (they also sell aluminum frames) so, if you wait a bit I can let you know how it turns out... they had a mediocre reputation, but it seems to be improving...by Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants

I looked into the "auto bed leveling" and i can't figure out how it works.. all it seems to do is measure the bed, not level it? I was viewing Trike's video's on youtube, and he said that the PCB heater has a slight benby Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants
I decided to buy one of these, as it seems like one of the few in this price range with a metal frame. It's not here yet, but while I wait.... It seems like I have to get auto leveling... manual leveling seems... mysterious. I was looking on an instructables site, and it seems like all I need is a proximity sensor and mounts? is that correct? also, I'm assuming it's not worth using the "carbonby Qdeathstar - Prusa i3 and variants
