Prusa i3, melzi v2 controller I have noticed how much the heated bed moves/ expands when heating I put a dial gauge in the centre of my bed, and took the temperature from 20 deg C to 100 the bed move up by 0.41mm with respect to the hot end. and then cooled it back down to 20 deg C where it retracted by 0.4mm . So a couple of questions is there a way to overcome the movement of the bed heigby moth4017 - Mechanics
OK after printing parts and getting some ok results I have discovered that the quality of some printed layers is affected by the type of cooling duct you have.. more so on ABS than PLA .. and before I get all the comments on ABS does not require cooling, try printing the 3Dbenchy part and look at the state of the chimney so looking through thingiverse I discover that there are not many originaby moth4017 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
