After building three 3d printers of my own and getting a good grip on Marlin Firmware it got me wondering why there are no open source 2D InkJet printers? I don't mean projects like Nicholasc Lewis' build and his InkShield This is a 96dpi single head printer. I'm talking about an open source community with firmware and basic components (print head, stepper, ink reservoir etc.) Just like the Reby dvseliteus - Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)
Okay so I got it working. It hit me last night that the print bed moves down and the stepper wires are in reverse. I also had to disable this line of code: Line 318 - // #define ENDSTOPPULLUP_ZMIN Now everything works like it should. I am having trouble getting the LJ12A3-4-Z/BX Inductive Proximity Sensor to trigger the bed to stop. Can anyone check out the code and see what I am doing wrong? I am converting a CubeX Trio to Reprap and I need help programming the Marlin Firmware to work with my setup. I'm new to arduino and I am only able to get 1 hot end programmed with no errors. I am also getting a min temp error? I have attached the code I modified but so far have had no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
