Looks nice. How does it perform, specifically with PLA?

That looks sexy. Whats the max temp it can handle? In the market for a new hot end actually to replace my buschado or however you spell it and want to go higher temps for nylon and such.

The beige thing looks like it's made from plastic so I would guess no nylon. For that I think you would need an all-metal hot end.

And I guess you meant Budaschnozzle? winking smiley

Yes. LOL. Maybe its just a model part and hes planning on making it in metal? One can hope, right?

As long as the PEEK portion can be kept below 240*C, it would work for higher temp plastics like nylon. I'm guessing that is the reason for the heat sink portion.

HI guys

thank you for the comments .

the idea is hotend without an active cooling (fan) and very low frication

the thing is to direct the heating exactly where it should go and stay there .

the nuzzle just slide in without screwing in order to make more contact with the block

the block made from alum' 6062

the heatsink act like a thermal barrier and helps to keep the peek cooler (6062 alum )

in the middle of peek i have a small theflon tube and the upper screw made from SS

for example with my delta design i can print on 185 deg' and the speed is on 100mm/sec with 600 mm theflon tube and direct drive ans no missing step and no oozing

i can print with 300 deg no problem and with no cooling .spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

guys ,,,,check out the videos

and this is my old design for the hotend no cooling needed

love this video ....hot smiley
