Is there anywhere in europe (preferably UK) that sells the PCBs for the third generation electronics? By the time I've paid shipping, VAT & customs handling charge, the makerbot kits aren't quite such a good deal!

The PCB's are open source, maybe it's time for someone to investigate a production run in the EU?

After waiting for nearly three months for the Boards I orderd from the RRRF.

I am doing exactly that locating a reasonably priced UK PCB manufacturer for short runs is the problem. As soon as I get some boards I will let the forum know.

Has anyone made the Gen 3 electronics on vero/strip board?
That would bypass the issue of finding PCB's in the UK.
I have managed to find all the right through-hole components on Farnell for the MB, for around £30
However it was very late and I lost the will to live before I found sutible IC's for the stepper boards... can anyone suggest the right parts?

Figuring out the wiring/layout probably wouldn't be too difficult, and it would mean anyone could order the electronics today and have them tomorrow!
